What else can be done?

A classic fight? You don't need to add anything new, don't fix what isn't broken.

Yeah, but getting rid of Master Hand entirely? That's gonna be a yikes from everyone.

I don't think they're gonna get rid of him and Crazy Hand entirely, with how much of a Smash staple they are. I think having other characters with different bosses makes sense.

I mean, if they directly referenced Smash For's cuts for Wolf's Classic Route, I don't see Master and Crazy Hand going away.

Of course. I wouldnt call them stingy but I dont think the TPC really cares about gettting back every previous Pokémon. And Sakurai said he had to twist arms to get everyone back. I wonder what other companies besides those two were hard to work with.

If I had to guess, I am sure the Pokémon Company was another one of those.

I doubt it. Contrary to what we all thought, Sakurai has mentioned back during Smash 4 that TPC is pretty chill with him and Smash.

Makes sense. There never seems to be a shortage of Pokemon content.

FE7 Tactician with that as his moveset gimmick is a not-so-secret pipedream character of mine actually.

It's not that they don't want to let their characters and songs be used, it's that they want too much money for them.

Especially with a franchise as colossal as Final Fantasy. Disappointed as I am for Cloud's lackluster representation, I can at least understand it. The difficulty they've had in dealing with one large SE franchise is what makes me wonder if they'd really do it all over again for something like Dragon Quest.

I still am not behind that decision. Assist TROPHIES! Amiibo look like the Smash Trophies! And if Spirits are just pictures with stats and nothing the trophies had at all then they got no choice but to bring em back as a patch.

Have you both used the Pokémon smash amiibos? They are way more restrictive than any other smash amiibo.

I dont think the Pokémon Company would care to have pokemon that arent currently promoting games (unless the come from Gen 1).

Only filthy casuals. Real pros know its all about using horses and fliers with a boatload of javelins to clear the map in under, like, 5 turns.

We actually have seen Tharja's spirit.

Of note, she's not using her official art, but her in-game portrait which conveniently has her clutching a tome to her chest. So the accusations of her trophy being removed for ratings issues have some more merit.

Regardless, I don't think it really matters which parties may have been difficult to work with anyway. Everyone's back so even if some arms had to be pulled, Sakurai accomplished his goal.

Because Stealth, who has a spotty but not entirely crappy track record, claimed Cloud was the last veteran to be added into Ultimate. Also the fact that it’s confirmed we still only have two FF tracks.
