Man, buying Symphony of the Night was a fantastic idea. I'm having so much fun with this game and it's helping these last few weeks fly by. The only downside is now I wish Alucard was playable in Smash.

I started playing it aswell, I find it funny that some boss fights are just two normal enemies doing a tag team on you.

Getting realistic for a moment, Hitagi not hearing anyone doesn't mean they're disconfirmed. It just means she doesn't know the character is in or not.

It's not the same thing whatsoever as actually hearing the character and their role.

...Of course, I expect more meme jokes even after this, so eh. I mean, Undertale is that awesome~

I feel like if Hitagi says that she hasn’t heard about a character, it doesn’t necessarily deconfirm them. However, I think it’s kind of dumb how she deconfirms all the SE reps besides DQ characters, and then acts like she isn’t suggesting that the character is from DQ. It’s like suggesting something without having to commit to a prediction, so people will still believe you in case Sora is revealed or whatever.

In my opinion, if you want to design a "cute but secretly scary" creature, you have to do a lot more than just give it some fangs and angry eyebrows.
You've got to really PUSH the weirdness, make the face change completely!

All joking aside. I don't understand the high demand for Sans. He's just a side character. Not to mention, if we are getting a UT rep it's going to be Frisk. Sans isn't a main character, or mascot or anything

Because Echoes are easy to develop, ergo why Waluigi can't be plopped in for ease of development.

Also, Dark Samus arguably has it worse. The only Echo that's fine as is is Richter because that's literally his moveset.

I'd argue Ken is fine as well.

Yes, Ken has been differentiated from Ryu over the years, but they addressed that, and specifically noted that he is based off of SSF2T Ken.

And even then, they still gave him some differing moves, including a completely original side-spin kick that Ryu doesn't even have.

No. Hitagi has stated time and time again none of the SE characters she's talked about are ACTUALLY deconfirmed.
She just wants to cover for her sources. The "no's" are more along the lines of "they aren't confirmed to be the SE rep" not "they aren't the SE rep"

A Simon's a Simon, whatever the design.
This one's alright and makes more sense when compared to the rest of the Belmont lineage, but it does lack the classic nostalgia of the original.

It's fine basically, at least it isn't Light from Death Note.

It had to be the original Simon, anything else would have been a mistake imo, it's the design that comes from the games that are the reason he's even here at all.

Gothic Simon is just... meh. Neither iconic or visually appealing imo.
