Hey, what if you play a Soul Calibur character in Smash, the announcer is replaced by the Soul Calibur announcer, and speaks during not only the loading screen, but also during entrances, and at the end of the match?

That’s also why some people prefer the Digimon anime more, from what i have heard.

Having seen both when i was younger, i kind of think the same thing.

The Digimon one has a more natural plot, while Pokémon’s feels touched to keep it running (Ash has lost too many leagues).

I'm pretty sure the general consensus is:

Anime: Digimon > Pokémon
Games: Pokémon > Digimon
Manga: Pokémon ≈ Digimon

Anyway, the Digimon anime get dark even in the dub, which is saying something considering it started as pretty much a gag dub (until the writers at Saban realised that wouldn't work and started taking the show seriously).

A Microsoft owned character being in Smash doesn't really have much to do with Xbox, so I don't know why they'd announce it at the event, unless Xbox gets something from Nintendo in return. Maybe they took a dormant IP off Nintendo's hands for Xbox/PC exclusivity.

So anyway, how would you guys feel about a second Mega Man or second Sonic character? Obviously Castlevania and Street Fighter got theirs, but that's most likely on the basis of being echoes, thus easier to implement. Assuming they'd HAVE to be unique, who would you pick? For Mega Man, I'd go with Mega Man X, since most of his weapons are different from Mega Man's. And for Sonic, I'm thinking Eggman, while he rides in the SA2 mech and uses various moves from his boss fights.

Other than that, I've got a Battle Network track I wanted to share since I think it'd make for good fight music. Though we've only got one MMX song confirmed for the game so it's hard to say if we'll get MMBN stuff.

For Sonic, tails just makes the most sense. For megaman, well, just look at my avatar.

I've always loved that Gundramon is exactly what he sounds like, a dragon made of guns. All three of the Three Musketeers are awesome.

Since Chrom showed characters can still be playable even if they're in Final Smashes. I wouldn't mind Proto Man as a DLC Megaman echo if more echoes ever happen.

As for Sonic, I of course want Tails the most. I'll take him as a full-fledged semi-clone or even a Ken-style echo if possible (It's actually a little crazy just how different Ken is as an echo compared to the rest of the echoes)

I know I mostly shill for Mega Man X since he's my dude. But I'd be happy to play as the other Mega Men as well, even if its only a slight chance. EXE, Starforce and Volnutt each have their unique weapons and gimmicks that would make them interesting characters to play as.

I wanted Protoman or Sigma in for Megaman, and Shadow or Eggman for Sonic.

Lol. Sigma would be crazy, I'd be down so long as he screams like a madman. Protoman could be an echo due to his proportions being similar to Mega Man.

Tron for Mega Man and Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog.

I think most people would be happy with Tails. You're only like the 2nd or 3rd person I've seen mention Tron. Her Marvel moveset shouldn't be too hard to translate over.

Waited 2.5 hours to play Ultimate, got a massive headache in the process, and when I finally got there I couldn't figure out the controls fast enough and hit dead last.

I think people thinking that Nintendo will pick characters that will promote games or make them money is wrong I think that will be part of the selection process but Sakurai would likely show them the ballot results and stuff like that so I do think that they will pick fan favorites that will also help make them money

She's like, one of the best Digimon in Cyber Sleuth because her special move "Phantom Pain" eats through enemies (even Bosses) like they're made of butter.

That being said, you misspelled "Beelzebumon" (Beelzemon in the Dub), not that that's a big deal.

I was also thinking: "There's no Deusmon" and then I found out it's an Applimon.

I need to watch Applimon.

That was mostly before the whole roster was shown. And we thought echoes couldn't have other roles, since we didn't see Robin's FS yet, which still has that man C-Money in it, despite also being an echo.

IF echos were added outside of the Fighter's Pass, then maaaaaaybe we get Tails or Metal Sonic and Protman or Bass to be based off of Sonic and Mega Man respectively. But that's a HUGE IF regarding DLC outside of the initial pass.

Keep rooting for Tron, and I'll doing the same for MMX or another Mega Man. It'd be really cool for one to show up.

The DLC has already been decided, and if Sakurai didn't know about Xenoblade Chronicles 2 until its announcement, a Nintendo game, then there's no chance he had early access to a Microsoft title.

I think that Red got voiced by Ash Ketchum in the spanish dub for Brawl.


Maybe i am wrong, but after seeing the new voice actor for Spider-Man being able to sound like a teenager on the Tom Holland movies, and at the same time sound like a 25-30 years old adult, i believe anything when it comes to voice acting.
