I know that Digimons story is a bit darker than Pokémon in terms of story (With few exceptions), I also find the digimon designs to also be more darker toned than Pokémon as well (The only digimon I watched when I was little-er had some pretty dark stuff that I was confused about, like one of the scenes where it took place in a muddy colored alleyway).

I know that Digimons story is a bit darker than Pokémon in terms of story (With few exceptions), I also find the digimon designs to also be more darker toned than Pokémon as well (The only digimon I watched when I was little-er had some pretty dark stuff that I was confused about).

That’s also why some people prefer the Digimon anime more, from what i have heard.

Having seen both when i was younger, i kind of think the same thing.

The Digimon one has a more natural plot, while Pokémon’s feels touched to keep it running (Ash has lost too many leagues).

Namco: Heihachi and Agumon. Heihachi's pretty cool and if I can't get Jin or Yoshimitsu, that's fine by me. Agumon for the Pokemon vs Digimon match up.

So anyway, how would you guys feel about a second Mega Man or second Sonic character? Obviously Castlevania and Street Fighter got theirs, but that's most likely on the basis of being echoes, thus easier to implement. Assuming they'd HAVE to be unique, who would you pick? For Mega Man, I'd go with Mega Man X, since most of his weapons are different from Mega Man's. And for Sonic, I'm thinking Eggman, while he rides in the SA2 mech and uses various moves from his boss fights.

Other than that, I've got a Battle Network track I wanted to share since I think it'd make for good fight music. Though we've only got one MMX song confirmed for the game so it's hard to say if we'll get MMBN stuff.

Hell, the general director most likely lost passion for it to the point that he uses the movies as an excuse to go out on a trip somewhere.

It's like The Simpsons, they'll never cancel it.

That being said, some Digimon seasons are better than others (e.g. Adventure's good, but its follow-up 02 suffered from internal staff conflicts).

Eggman or Tails for Sonic. If they continue to consign Knuckles and Shadow to AT status, those former two are the next logical step as playable.

I did some tallying, and determined that out of the 75 icons on the character select screen in Ultimate after everyone is unlocked and Piranha Plant is downloaded (counting Pokemon Trainer as one character), 39 (more than half, which precisely is 52%) go to characters from the Mario series and its spinoffs (14 characters, 3 of which are new), Pokemon (8 characters, again counting the Trainer as one, with Incineroar added), Fire Emblem (7 characters, one being new), The Legend of Zelda (6 characters, all veterans), and Metroid (4 characters, 2 of them new).

Another four franchises have been determined to have three characters each - Kid Icarus, Kirby, Mii/Super Smash Bros., and Star Fox. None of the four currently have any new representation.

Still another four franchises - Animal Crossing. Castlevania. EarthBound. and Street Fighter - have two characters. The former and latter have one new representative, Castlevania is a new franchise to Smash.

The remaining 16 franchises - Bayonetta, Duck Hunt, Final Fantasy, F-Zero, Game and Watch, Ice Climber, Mega Man, Metal Gear, Pac-Man, Pikmin, Punch-Out!!, R.O.B., Sonic, Splatoon, Wii Fit, Xenoblade Chronicles - each have one character. Of these 16, only Splatoon, with Inkling, is new to Smash.
