I'd try :/ Trying to be realistic in catering to the characters with the largest fanbases. Realistically, I forgot Ashley so I'd probably cut Suezo and replace him with her.

The next game will be Nintendo All Stars Girls Mode and all the characters will be women or popular with women, hence why the ballot asked for your age and gender. It's time.

Sophie will be top tier and my main unless they add Mach Rider.

Assuming it was feasible from a development and licensing standpoint... how would people feel if going forward, Smash games were like Ultimate, where they port the entire roster + DLC from the last game, then add half a dozen newcomers/echoes each? Or would we rather see a reboot that heavily reworks the gameplay with massive cuts and more new characters?

I would rather they just work off what they have in Ultimate.

Or at least it should remain that way for the rest of the Switch's lifecycle. Maybe come the next console their could be a big reboot that overhauls a lot of things about the series.

I'm unsure, but I do believe that new first party titles aren't revealed through them, so I'm holding my tongue for a new F-Zero game to be announced there...

However, if it turns out to be a regular direct, or a direct based solely on the new game, then yeah that would be sweet.

Yeah I heard the rumor but nothing came out of it so far.

And what's all this rumbling of a new F-Zero? Are they talking about the rumored Star Fox game that plays sort of like F-Zero?

Well again, as someone who prefers cartoonish chars., it's the reason I'd prefer Slime. That's why Piranha was an instant pick to me.

Umm, someone just pointed that it was nothing relations related, said they just didn't find a spot for Mario in 2, also pointed that Bowser was in the first. So I guess my assumption was off..

Yeah I read they took a loss but boy I didn't know how much. 33Mil!? Why was that? A game didn't sell well? Also, you've probably already know, but seems someone important just got out of FF15, and they've canceled 3 out of 4 DLCs for that game too.(I think you mentioned that earlier).

Yes thats why they lost 33million because Tabata left, and now all of the upcoming DLC's with the exception of Ardyn have been canceled.
Its very disappointing and they way they announced through a powerpoint like presentation on the anniversary of the game was not well thought. Not sure if this might affect Square's investors and if their stock will drop significantly.

I mean I like Piranha plant, I dont know maybe the Slime will grow on me, it just would open the floodgates for 3rd party characters to be odd picks. This could be a good/bad thing, because now a Moogle could make it in. I might be reading too much into this, ill just wait to see how events play.

Ah they might just not had enough room to put him in, or they'll stick with having Bowser as representing Nintendo. I still think hearing a remixed version of mario kart at EPCOT means the Mario franchise is in the movie in some way. So if thats the case then the two company's are in good standing.

And it could be potentially funner with more characters if you could add them with no drawbacks or consequences
