GameXplain are probably under an NDA guys. They don't want to risk talking about it as it would harm their reputation and relationship with Nintendo.

If they were silent, it would be just as damning, so instead they are being dismissive.

It makes sense. The way they are behaving is probably how Nintendo would want them to.

If they lost their press credentials or review copy privileges it'd cripple them.

Incineroar is not there

Mach Rider, Chorus Kids, Banjo ARE there, which apparently none have heard about except for Papageno's lone source

Y'know, GameXPlain may not be covering this leak because...maybe they just don't want to?

Which they have every right to not cover it. I do not believe there is some grand conspiracy going on with GameXPlain. If they know stuff, they ain't gonna say squat because they don't want to. They have no obligation to tell us anything.

Why they don't want to is essentially the crux of the argument for why people think they know something. This leak is the type of leak that could give them material for weeks at the rate this is going and could lead to some good discussion on a channel that loves to discuss stuff like that.
For them to throw it to the side so quickly despite that is highly odd, especially since they aren't uninvolved with it outside of discussion as they have chimed in multiple times to decry the leak.
If they didn't want to do anything with it they could have remained neutral but they drew a line in the sand and declared it false and refused to discuss it further right after(outside attempts to say it's false again). They are pretty darn active with this leak, but not in their usual discussion of leaks but them vehemently trying to stop discussion of it.

Oh yay the mural clipping thing has respawned the "Isaac trailer was delayed cuz earthquake" theory again. I had little problem with his fans for 4 even if they tended to cause trouble with Xenoblade fans for some reason but this bullcrap has made me lose so much respect for fans of this character.
It's just....headache inducing that not only are they just disrespectful creating a conspiracy theory around something like that because EVERYTHING is a hint towards their character but the fact that they don't even see how it's disrespectful is honestly saddening to me.

This isn't even true though. The Isaac fanbase never started any kind of trouble with the Xenoblade fanbase during Smash For Speculation ever. As a matter of fact a lot of them crossed over with each other. And besides that if you look into the Isaac thread right around the time of the earthquakes a lot of the users were shutting down that theory. It was impossible to know for sure but we knew that suggesting it was disrespectful and most of us agreed that was not the reason. Besides that, the announcement of Animal Crossing for Switch confirmed that the whole Direct went over exactly as planned. There was and still is no reason to speculate that Isaac was pushed back due to earthquake related reasons.

Please, don't judge the many for the very very very VERY few that have brought up that possibility in this thread. It's not fair to fans of that character to be plastered with this sort of image just because you heard a few things that you didn't like from a few people.

It’s not disrespectful to theorize that this could have happened. It would be incredibly disrespectful to be angered that t happened. Delaying the direct was the right thing for Nintendo to do regardless of whether or not issac was in it. Removing issac from the trailer after delaying it would ALSO have been be the right thin to do. What happened in Japan was a total tragedy, and incredibly sad. Anyone who was angry that Nintendo delayed the direct were being disrespectful and should be ashamed of themselves.

The earthquake was a thing that happened. The fact that people are happy their character might be in the game doesn’t automatically make them terrible people. If they care more about they’re character than the lives that were lost that’s a different story, but theorizing about what might have happened is literally harmless.

As someone who donated money to help after the earthquake and someone who believes that issac May have been removed from the trailer... grouping everyone into a single stereotype simply isn’t fair.

He's trying to say that, in the painting, Roy's hair is being reflected in Inklings eyes (i.e. Inkling is looking at Roy), but at the angle they're currently at in the Banner, this is impossible (because Roy is too close and, according to his depth on the image, behind her); but, in the Grinch leak, suddenly not only is Roy far enough away for the angle to make sense, but Inkling is now deeper into the picture than Roy (and therefore behind him, and able to look at his head).

Keep in mind that the completed mural was made first, and then new versions were created that take them away.

How do we know the filled version was made first? It'd be easier to make everything separately, and splice it together later on. That'd also explain why the positions of the characters are so flexible.

I love this so much. All the leak discussion and character speculation makes waiting for smash so much fun. I generally just watch and see what everyone else has to say but I need to post at least once every smash season just for the hell of it.

Yeah whatever it is it’s probably going to get debunked. This whole back and forth is getting overwhelming and it’s becoming exhausting. It feels like we are in a endless loop. I’m on #teamImTired. It really is best just to wait this mess out until Sakurai confirms something or anything at least to end all this insanity.

The main problem here is most of the people here somehow forgot they have games they can play to pass the time.

I'm not really ready to come back to this thread for reals just yet, but I've been thinking about why I argued so much against the leak before and wanted to explain myself to everyone. It's because I can't stand seeing people act like this leak is 100% without a shadow of a doubt certain. There's a lot of mature and reasonable people in "team real" and I don't intend to speak poorly of those ones, but there's also a lot of people in flat out denial of the leak's holes. Even if you believe its true, is it so much to ask that everyone acknowledges there's something fishy going on here? That even of there's possible explinations for the holes in the leak, none of those explinations are yet certain? If you can admit to that and still leave yourselves open to discussion, then I have no issues with you being on team real. I'm no hypocrite either. Despite being on "team fake" I'm still completely open to the possibility of the leak being real.

And no matter what side you're on, don't gloat preemtively. Taunt to get bodied is still the truest of all combos and you never want to set yourself up for that.

Anyway, with that said and out of the way, I'll be heading back to the safezone that is the Nintenzone Social. I'll probably back some time once the dust settles after the leak gets a hard confirm or deconfirm.

You see, nobody cares about Ken. But Banjo and Isaac? Boy, that'll make sales on your leak. It made so much sales there's tinfoil on their tinfoil about how Skull Kid is clearly in there also but everyone's in denial about it apparently.

Team neutral is a pretty good side to be on. I'm honestly not going to worry about who gets in, as long as many characters have a chance through DLC (may not be possible, though). No clue as for how long we'll all stay divided on the roster and what it may be anymore, but probably not long.

Because that's literally all they do--talk BS about inconsequential fan theories and speculation. Their silence is odd (though the suggestion that they're being paid off is ridiculous). It CAN be fake, but the detail here is extraordinary, way more than the grinch leak.
They have what very resembles a real debug screen, Pichu's portrait glitching in the same way it does in E3 demo, the shadow thing, the glitch with pacman's emote and having a splatless moray towers.

If Shadow had one, I feel like Radical Highway would be the easy choice, and for Ken I would honestly like Guile's stage, but that is more of a personal preference.

I don't think echoes will get their own stages. After all Richter isn't getting one.

There was definitely a rivalry between Golden Sun fans and Xenoblade fans back in the SSB4 days. Obviously some people liked both, but others did not and saw the other side as competition.

But it is completely unfair to put that on the Golden Sun fans. Some of them were *****, yes. So were some of the Xenoblade fans. Both sides had good people and bad, just like every other divide in the history of ever.

I'd also like to point out that nobody legitimare knew of K. Rool or claimed to know about him before or after his reveal, so it's very possible Banjo, Mach Rider and Chorus Kids are in his boat.

Incineroar and the whole thing around that is what's absolutely confusing me though. He could very well be DLC, and that just might be our answer but it is an interesting thought.

Like, if Incineroar was included in this leak, I have a feeling many of these people would say it's probably legit then. It's honestly what's also driving me to believe its real though. Incineroar is the most discussed leaked character this speculation period, so why would a fake leaker not include him?

I think there's a possibility, probably not likely, that the banner we've seen is either a prototype with different poses or COULD be missing something.

However, if what Spooky says is true, not only will I get Isaac and almost everything else I wanted, but Lloyd Irving on top of it as DLC.

The Isaac fans were some of the most vocal about trying to debunk it because of it being disrespectful, and there was just as much of that in this thread too. You shouldn't generalize a fanbase like that.
