What are you trying to say here? I never said their ability to swear gave them credibilty.

I was arguing that they might not be a native English speaker because they used "cut" when "not in" would have been a better word to use (unless they are a high-up industry insider who knows who was considered and left on the drawing board), and I was also countering the point that they had to be a Native English because they were swearing.

I find it pretty funny most of the reactions in ERA seem to be "Oh they fit nicely so it must be real" vs here "See? It's easy to edit, so it's fake."

I'm going to drop what I posted in the Banjo thread this evening here, so everyone can enjoy with my broken English. For me there's not so much to say about the Grinch party. A dead end till more news or leaks:

The thing is that you can't prove it as fake, neither as true with the info that we got. None of the factors can be considered as a bullet proof fact.
-It's a very elaborated leak but fake: There's a lot of little details for just beign considered as mere baits.
-You can't make such fake with so many little details and effort (the french company, the Grinch stuff...): Trust me, people can be amazing with those things, there's pure criminal masterminds out there just working for the lulz. It's a possibility. Or it can be fake and still the dude be working there with the Grinch movie.
-There's differences within the backgrounds and shadows, so fake: It could exist more than one version for media, you know. Different formats, print or screen stuff... It means nothing.
-You heard guys, more than one version , so true: No, just a possibility.
-There's so many characters to reveal at once: It doesn't matter, really. Brawl first trailer showed 5. It could be a final bomb.
-Sakurai said not so many characters, about slow down the hype: Sakurai also said that Bayonetta won the ballot an we know that it was false. And he's well known for trolling a bit and overpass our calculations.
-The insider's backslash: Probably they got some info which doesn't fit with the leak or they are with damage control or just wrong.
And I could continue the whole day with this crap. Just wait and see, that's how I work, I doubt about everything.

We've already found out that the background was very likely edited based on this so he could have took the characters out, then pasted them on the edited background he made.

There were obviously some people who claimed nobody could (which is, of course, silly in 2018). The claim is it's very difficult to make with very little "obvious" mistakes, even seen from that large, blurry distance. Not to mention everything surrounding it is so elaborate--which, I feel like one thing most of us can agree on, real or fake, this is very weird either way.

There's no way we could know for sure that the leak, if real, is the FINAL banner or not. There is a, however unlikely, world where both verg AND grinch are correct.

Why would this banner be printed incomplete?

btw my "quality bowser arms" post was meant to disprove that, lol. it certainly wouldn't be THAT easy to rearrange fighters like that and maintain the level of quality in each of the individual drawings, because if the fake leaker in question did it like any average joe on the street, then yeah we'd see ****ty bowser arms like that among other glaring issues.

so... assuming he put more effort into this banner than the average resetera user, we once again return to the point where why would some kid go through something so meticulous as that just for a fake leak?

of course that question doesn't prove anything but no, i don't think that gif is punching any holes.

Huh, but there's something that didn't make sense at all. Was someone able to find source for those fighter arts beside that claim shadow in the leak look like fanmade shadow render?

You know, Isaac, and Mech rider considering they just look like if they were made to fill in with banner's art.
