I can't figure out the Chorus Kids in the image. It looks like four characters, three of them sort of surrounding some large, blobby character...? Anybody have an idea what I'm looking at? It's possibly the conductor of them, but it's hard to tell; it may even be a different Rhythm Heaven character bundled with the Kids themselves.

Box theory probably died so I came back, but what killed it was a leak so I'm saving the gloating til the direct. Also it seems DLC is now the topic of the day, and that Sora might be in smash cuz of an unrelated leak. Who would be his echo though Riku or Roxas?

To be fair, the man also said Smash Wii U would only have a few. And if we cut out every Echo (which are pretty much skins aside from one changed move on Chrom), then the list of unique newcomers actually is considerably smaller than the last game, is it not?

Roxas makes the most sense but Riku is the more popular one. (He even stole hero credit in KH: DDD)

No Smash game ever has or ever will be balanced. I don't want my fun hobbled so the competitive scene can see a few more characters in mid tier before going back to Bayonetta again.

Banjo and Chorus Kids - 0/10: ewwwww

Geno - 3/10: don't care for him but I like seeing Luigi The President happy so she's the only one who can change my opinion

Ken - 7/10: neat. One step closer to Chun Li as DLC

Shadow - 7/10: also neat and Sonic needs more characters when it's the biggest of all 3rd Parties

Isaac - 6/10: gonna depend a lot on how he play but I like seeing more RPGs represented and I've heard the music that was in Smash 4 so if the quality is anything like that then I'm in

Mach Rider - 8/10 **** it I wanna see how she plays, she's bound to be cool as **** with a bike and a gun. I love retro characters.

That blob is the Conductor, who is always shown with his back facing the camera.

Anyway, I'm imagining all of their attacks will feature Rhythm Heaven characters, from Karate Joe to Harry Onion to the Wrestler.

Love you Shi :") honestly you probably shouldn't care for him! He's not that important of a guy, he appeared once, but he's just such an underdog and lives only due to popularity which combined with my childhood love of SMRPG so I'm pretty ecstatic.
If it increases your hype at all, though it also may drop it: Geno has a special move where, if timed absolutely perfectly, it can deal 9999 damage. Imagine if Geno Whirl (the move) had a Peach-like mechanic where it had a, say, 1/1000 chance to deal 9999 damage and take out the enemy.
Now imagine that at EVO Grand Finals

Chun as DLC would be massively hype actually. Also, first time seeing someone give a solid 0 to Banjo, dang Shi

Also my take on the Springman vs. Rayman: Springman looks like they're dragging his model back and forth in an image editing software, Rayman had us fooled for days...c'mon Pakky.

If leak is true, will Chorus Kids be 2d or 3d? My vote is a 2d Ice Climbers/Game and Watch hybrid. The other 2 kids follow along and fight like Nana would, and the characters are represented in 2D like Game and Watch.

I said box theory is not dead yet. Banner looks reasonable, but it is not 100% until a direct. It is not more a valid contender than the box.

Luigi, I'm gonna be real with you:

I'm taking that stance with this leak because I want it to be real so bad. I was done with characters. My thoughts were more on what modes there were. If box was legit, then oh well, I was already satisfied with Inklings. Everything that happened after them was a bonus.

But dang it, Mach Rider, Chorus Boys, Shadow, and Banjo & Kazooie? I'd lose it for any of those.

Box Theory is basically dead at this point, with the back of the switch bundle from the eBay listing proving it can have empty slots and possibly doesn't have the full roster, i don't see any reason to stick to it anyways, having more newcomers is better than lowering your expectations to 2

You're probably right, and I'm very eager to see how this character works. But I'm still having trouble seeing anything other than a weird Mr. Burns octopus monster there:
