How sad that the biggest leak in Smash Ultimate is from a guy in a "private snapchat".

Sad because this guy accidentaly cursed his ****ing future in the industry, well, and the PENALTY.

No matter what is posted, people are too head set on believing this is fake or real.
I don't think there's a point in trying to point out small inconsistencies when it only has 2 weeks or so to live or die.

Are you for real trying to compare a massively zoomed in high-quality focused image to a heavily zoomed-out low-quality unfocused image specifically a minor snippet of their backgrounds

I am feeling this leak...it's too big, too well crated and has too many layers to it for it being false, imo.

However, the next character reveal can easily make or break it. If the pre-banner assumption of Incineroar was true, the fan base probably would wind up disappointed...

I certainly would not mind this roster at all! I already got my Bae K Rool, but Mach Rider would sweeten everything for me!

I said box theory is not dead yet. Banner looks reasonable, but it is not 100% until a direct. It is not more a valid contender than the box.
It is another thing to watch and enjoy.

+ Includes material for other unrelated products that seems to be checking out
+ Characters on mural moved in ways that revealed previously unseen details
+ Clean background image also shown, which would either need to be completely redone by hand or it's legit
+ Other circumstantial things like Mach Rider's gun resembling Sakurai's toy purchase and potenital Minecraft representation with Banjo mimicking the inclusion of Bomberman and a Geno Mii costume ("opening the door" for other third party representation)

Sakurai - "We only have a few left"
- Leak has five newcomers and two echoes
That's not "a few" at all

Two things are possible here, some of the characters on the leak are DLC and Sakurai doesn't count that as he was talking about Base roster only. Or Sakurai's idea of what constitutes "not too many newcomers" is very different from most peoples.

Considering the incredible blurriness, the probability that Sakurai could change the background as more characters are added (you'll notice the empty Battlefield one has sunsets), and that they could easily shrink or stretch the banner to fit onto whatever it's meant to wrap around, no, it's probably not a photoshop work.

Might as well give my thoughts on the characters
Banjo and Chorus Kids - 0/10: ewwwww

Geno - 3/10: don't care for him but I like seeing Luigi The President happy so she's the only one who can change my opinion

Ken - 7/10: neat. One step closer to Chun Li as DLC

Shadow - 7/10: also neat and Sonic needs more characters when it's the biggest of all 3rd Parties

Isaac - 6/10: gonna depend a lot on how he play but I like seeing more RPGs represented and I've heard the music that was in Smash 4 so if the quality is anything like that then I'm in

Mach Rider - 8/10 **** it I wanna see how she plays, she's bound to be cool as **** with a bike and a gun. I love retro characters.

While talking about the banner "leak", Spawn Wave mentioned one character is missing. Someone asked Incineroar, and he said that's one, but he was thinking of someone else. As @TotsBS has mentioned, this guy seems to speculate Sora a lot. And when asked about Sora, he gave a cryptic "Huh, would people get excited about that?"

TL;DR Spawn-Wave have insiders source. No doubt about it. They got Catherine Remake, Google stuff, Steam stuff, and the whole Nintendo Fall Lineups correct alongside tons of ****.

Recently their most recent rumours is that we will get probably two direct one normal and a Smash direct.


But before that, they were the FIRST to talk about a VGA announcement for Smash Bros. That there talk about it and said that there high chance that Characters being a Square-Enix Rep


Then there comes the Banner leaks with all of the Characters we knows. And they come forward saying that it's either fake. Or planned for before a reveal since it's Missing one Characters.
It is not Incineroar.

And he's not even hiding that he's now Talking about Sora being revealed at the VGA

I'm still on #TeamFake, but only because I prefer to be cynical logical. It's not nearly as difficult to fake that blurry image while also having access to Grinch products and a nearby Kinkos as people believe.

But yes. It would be glorious. Honestly though? I'd rather be wrong and see it become true so everyone gets what they want except Incineroar fans and we can move on to talking about the game instead of arguing over who deserves to be in more than others.

In Brawl, a lot of people were expecting like, over 50 characters.

In For, people were making 10+ character wishlists, thinking DLC would be that long-lasting.

People are talking about secret base characters and DLC at the moment.

Sakurai could never give Smash fandom "too many newcomers".

-Cooking Mama (will forever be my ultimate want for Smash)
