And not only because of art, but because of the leakers background. You can't fake that ****.

Can we just pause and appreciate that a ****ing smash leak is now being ingratiated into broader popular culture now??

This is something only the craziest of the crazy could ever imagine happening.

I didn't expect much today
but this...does put a smile on my face

Today is a good day.

- Jiggly's weird eyes
- General "don't expect too many fighters"

+ Renders haven't been seen before
+ Blank Battlefield render in full image is totally new and very difficult to fake
+ Moving of original fighters (namely Miis and characters moved to show new details like Roy's foot, Greninja's tongue) also difficult
+ Unseen Grinch movie material also in image
+ Weird specificity of it apparently being an armband
+ Leaker's LinkedIn wasn't newly created, confirmed work at company with Namco as a customer, and has since been made private
+ Original form of Snapchat video, meaning images would have had to have been printed, etc. at somewhat professional standard
+ Little creative details like Isaac having vines, Chorus Kids possibly including conductor

Hmmm. The negatives are easier to dismiss than all the other points. Leaning towards real now...

TL;DR Spawn-Wave have insiders source. No doubt about it. They got Catherine Remake, Google stuff, Steam stuff, and the whole Nintendo Fall Lineups correct alongside tons of ****.

Recently their most recent rumours is that we will get probably two direct one normal and a Smash direct.


But before that, they were the FIRST to talk about a VGA announcement for Smash Bros. That there talk about it and said that there high chance that Characters being a Square-Enix Rep


Then there comes the Banner leaks with all of the Characters we knows. And they come forward saying that it's either fake. Or planned for before a reveal since it's Missing one Characters.
It is not Incineroar.

And he's not even hiding that he's now Talking about Sora being revealed at the VGA

I'm not sure why we should trust Spawn Wave if even Vergeben fumbled.

As a pointed out earlier, this version of the banner gives us a whopping 13 characters that were cut or considered in the past so I think the theme will continue.

-Dixie (Brawl)
-Heihachi (SSB4)
-Monster Hunter (supposedly this game)
-Inceniroar
-Either Shantae or Skull Kid

Lyn (assist trophy promotion rule breaker)
SMT Protagonist (desperately needed SMT promotion. Recognizing JRPG roots)

Expect, but don't want:
Spring man (obvious promotional character and easily conceptualized fighter)
Rex and Pyra/Mythra (obvious promotional character and massive hit game with also a easily implemented character gimmick)
Edelgard(Corrin/Roy style advertisement. May be switched with Byleth if she turns out to be secondary character)

Expect AND want:
Doomguy (gaming icon. Ties with Nintendo)
Ryu Hayabusa (gaming icon. Ties with Nintendo)

Knowing this community, I can't believe nobody has yet claimed that this is all part of a conspiracy between Nintendo, the Grinch and Wendy's to boost publicity for all of them.

1. Skull Kid - Get him in already.
2. Crash Bandicoot - A necessity.
3. Dixie Kong - Last DK character we need.
4. New Pokemon Rep - I guess..
5. Xenoblade Rep - Why not?
6. Spring Man - Would be neat.
7. Bethesda Rep - OH YEA!!!
8. Black Shadow - Captain Falcon still needs some love..
9. Black Knight - If there is one FE Rep I'd want, its him.
10. Bandana Dee - Yes, I didn't forget about him..

Because while you can ****talk Vergeben for being an ******* and all that jazz and get things wrong in previous game, it is not the case yet for Spawn-Wave

I mean Vergeben's Smash sources that he's relied on have all been right so far except for Incineroar. His personality is completely irrelevant.
If a reliable leaker like Verge can mess up I'm sure Spawn can too.

Never seen grinch related christmas image was leaked in same photo where infamous image containing unrevealed fighters was also leaked thus why it was called "The Grinch who leaked whole roster"

he APPARENTLY worked for a company that was also doing promo material on the Grinch movie
this company is also tired to Bandai Namco (I don't see this as a point for the leak by the way, Namco wouldn't be handling the promotional work, they aren't the publishers here)
