As much as I hate saying his name, if you want to know when a Direct's coming, look at Loz's group of 'friends'.

Whenever the leakers 'reset the clock' on Twitter, it always been a Direct announcement is near, and so far none of them have done so.

Though I still feel a Direct makes the most sense to avoid the roster being leaked in November.

Wouldnt surprise me if we got Goku in Smash.

The connection to Bamco plus Dragon Ball is owning the gaming world at the moment. Fighterz, Xenoverse, Dokkan, Heroes. Plus the dragon ball super anime ended this year and the end of this year is a big Dragon Ball Super movie.

Goku had like 7 games on the NES and 8 on the SNES. He's been in over 80 games spanding across multiple handhelds and consoles. 8 Mobile games, and used to have a PC mmorpg. This isnt including crossovers and cameos either. He was also the face of the SNES jump edition.

Feats not even Superman has in gaming.

Incineroar: YES!!! A bit tired of hearing him thrown around so much, but he was my original pipe dream pick for Ultimate as I always assumed Decidueye would be in. Gonna be so happy to see one of my favorite Pokemon in HD, "ugly big hands" and all.
Elma: Cool. Elma's pretty and was always a neat fixture in my short time playing the very fun XCX.
Isaac: Snzzz. Boring. Happy for his fans though they deserve it.
Chorus Kids: Cool. Would've liked Karate Joe but these little guys are adorable too. Need to actually play RH.
Geno: 2nd most wanted, would probably hyperventilate and I'm not exaggerating. Would probably be my favorite Smash reveal ever. He deserves it.

Legitimate question because I didn't see too much of it at the time, but did any of those people predict the Smash direct announcment for 8/8?

If I recall that one caught everyone off guard because it wasn't announced via Twitter like general directs. I think we shouldn't expect NOA to announce the final smash direct...but I'm also super unsure how it will be announced...unless they wait until the 11/3 tournaments in Tokyo :/

-At this point I don't mind him. He'll probably have a super unique fighting style.
-Never played XCX, only the first and second. People seem to like her so I dig it.
- Yes, i grew up on GS. Would be the the most unique swordsman
-If they play like Ice Climbers 2.0 but with 3 characters, that would be interesting
-Don't really have a preference but I want his fans to finally be happy.
- He deserves a shot just as much as Bayo deserves it. He'd be super interesting
-Leon would be cool, but I'd prefer Dante from Capcom.
-Id rather have Chrono as a Toriyama designed character. Dragon quest is amazing, but the protagonists aren't anything special

Incineroar - Would be pretty fine with it, but I'd prefer Decidueye.
Isaac - I played Golden Sun recently due to the huge amount of discussion involving him, and I'm now a believer. I'd love to see him.
Chorus Kids - Indifferent. Never played any Rhythm Heaven game.
Geno - Would be a nice surprise. Plus we could get a great remix of the Forest Maze theme.
Dante - OMEGA NUT. Devil May Cry was my childhood and my 8 year self really wanted it to happen, so yeah.
Leon - Same as Dante, but not on the same level.
Dragon Quest Protag - Also Indifferent, as i never played DQ.
Sora - Hell yes. Would adore it.
Hayabusa - He's the only important NES character that's missing, tbh. While I don't see it happening i would really love his inclusion.

The only one I can tolerate is Incineroar, who I actually like. I have little to no knowledge of the DQ3 character or Leon to have true input, but overall, sheer disappointment on the other characters, and actually hatred for some of em too. As I've been saying a million times, I only care about KI's Medusa, Phosphora, and Monster Hunter, with a guilty interest for Eggman. However, I am okay with Incineroar or Decidueye depending on the angle Nintendo does with their movesets.
