So maybe here’s something to talk about:

What top 10 content do you want to see included except roster additions like “I want Banjo”. However, you can include “If we get Banjo, I want ____ music.” You can include content what would come with the roster addition.

1. I want One Wing Angel for FF7 music.
2. In addition, Sephiroth as an Assist.
3. If we get Scorpion, his neutral special has to be his “come over here” spear attack and Kirby has to mimic Scorpion.
4. More trophies to represent the previous DLC 3rd party franchises ie Street fighter and Final Fantasy
5. Customized gear that actually serves a purpose and visually changes the character ie Mario’s Flying Cap which greatly enhances his jumps or possibly Smash-unique gear like a eye visor headgear for Zamus that reduces projectile damage.
6. Roster characters can appear as Assist Trophies (and maybe vice versa).
7. If we get Banjo, Gruntilda rhyme codecs.
8. A Museum mode where we can unlock various replicas like what we saw at E3. The Monado Blade. Ryu’s Gi. Link’s Megaton Hammer. Daisy’s Cruise Ship.
9. Fortnite stage. I think we would hate it but it could work.
10. Interview videos of each characters creator/director and his/her thoughts when designing said character, the future they envisioned for them, and what they thinking about that character fighting in Smash.

1. Final Fantasy representation as a whole and not just only FFVII
2. Sons of Liberty theme.
3. The option to choose which Pokémon/assists will spawn.
4. A new Pokémon stage.
5. Return of Codecs.
6. More 3rd party assist trophies.
7. A lot of trophies of other 3rd party franchises not represented by characters.
8. Stock Team Battles in the online mode.
9. Break the Targets and Board the Platforms return with every character having an unique stage.
10. Some kind of extra thing to celebrate the series 20th anniversary like a documentary or somethin'?

Hmm... I can't think of 10 things, so have 7 instead.

1. I want music from the Orre Pokémon games to make an appearance
2. Also music from the Game & Watch Gallery games...
3. Unlockable Costumes would be pretty neat.
4. If we get Zack Fair as a character, one of his taunts should be his squatting animation
5. Here's an idea: menu and gallery music from other series for use in Smash' Main Menu (for example, listening to this while viewing trophies)
6. Since Square Enix are involved, I still think we should get an Itadaki Street mode, especially if we get a DQ character
7. Special intros for unlockable characters would be cool (like Luigi's cutscene in Melee's Adventure Mode)

I just beat the Elite 4 of Pokémon Crystal Clear, each member (who aren't the group of Will, Koga, Bruno, Clair and Lance) have their own unique battle music (#2 has a remix of Cynthia's Battle theme, for example). The first guy, Robert, has a song which sounds so familiar to me, but I can't for the life of me remember what it's from.

So I have a question, would any of you buy a Smash game that played like a traditional fighting game?

Depends on the roster.

I hear all this talk about Geno or Sora and I’m like...

Why not this guy?

Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite games ever, but I think Kingdom Hearts is more popular, and Dragon Quest is more important.

It doesn't help that his franchise only has two games, only one of which is actually good. Though, Geno's position is arguably even worse, but he's highly requested anyway.

Having Crono in Smash would be like having Goku pretty much.

Which isn't a bad thing

If it's gets people to stop requesting actual Goku, then I'm all for it.

Because people want a place to talk about general Smash talk without having to dodge spoilers? Warning people about spoilers just means people that don't want spoilers...can't come to the thread. And people shouldn't have to stay away from general discussion because of that.

It's also nice to be able to go make a sandwich and not come back to 3 more pages of people arguing about fake leaks.

Gen V = Krookodile (Could maybe work like a K.Rool semi-clone, oddly enough; at least needs Crunch and Swagger for unique specials)
Gen VII = Tsareena (I'm thinking the opposite of Little Mac, in that she would only attack with her legs, with the occasional Power Whip, among other moves)

Now that I think about it, almost every Pokémon generation has a playable character.

= Gen I
= Gen II
= Gen IV
= Gen VI

Well, almost all. If we were to get a newcomer from Gen III or V (VII might be decided for many, but you could still choose if you want), who would you pick? Gen VIII doesn't count (yet).

Gen III = Ninjask
Gen V = Haxorus
Gen VII = Incineroar (or Decidueye. Literally either is fine.)

Edit: Try to go with a Pokémon that hasn't been seen yet. Otherwise, I would have chosen Zoroark too!

So maybe here’s something to talk about:

What top 10 content do you want to see included except roster additions like “I want Banjo”. However, you can include “If we get Banjo, I want ____ music.” You can include content what would come with the roster addition.

1. I want One Wing Angel for FF7 music.
2. In addition, Sephiroth as an Assist.
3. If we get Scorpion, his neutral special has to be his “come over here” spear attack and Kirby has to mimic Scorpion.
4. More trophies to represent the previous DLC 3rd party franchises ie Street fighter and Final Fantasy
5. Customized gear that actually serves a purpose and visually changes the character ie Mario’s Flying Cap which greatly enhances his jumps or possibly Smash-unique gear like a eye visor headgear for Zamus that reduces projectile damage.
6. Roster characters can appear as Assist Trophies (and maybe vice versa).
7. If we get Banjo, Gruntilda rhyme codecs.
8. A Museum mode where we can unlock various replicas like what we saw at E3. The Monado Blade. Ryu’s Gi. Link’s Megaton Hammer. Daisy’s Cruise Ship.
9. Fortnite stage. I think we would hate it but it could work.
10. Interview videos of each characters creator/director and his/her thoughts when designing said character, the future they envisioned for them, and what they thinking about that character fighting in Smash.

1. Street Fighter 3 Music for Suzaku Castle
2. Some more MMX and MMBN Music for Wily Castle
3. More Metroid Prime music, especially with the inclusion of Dark Samus.
4. Characters to have at least 10 color swaps, 12 maximum outside of those with alternate costumes.
5. For things like Mii Outfits to be obtainable in an in-game shop, where you can pick and choose what you want.
6. If Classic has Smash 4 style difficulty, have so that the difficulty doesn't force itself down after losing once.
7. For this Spirits Mode thing to be less tedious than SSE was. Melee Adventure mode was about right in terms of length
8. Maybe have All-Star Mode handle things by Year OR the character's inclusion based on the players choice.
9. IF Heihachi/Jin's in, add Ogre's Tekken Tag theme as one of the soundtracks.
10. Maybe bring back something like Race to the Finish.
