His translator serves as his echo fighter.Clearly Sakurai is hinting at himself as a fighter, otherwise, why would he appear during those segments?
Seeing him get denied during E3 hurt a bit. I think you know what I mean. His translator serves as his echo fighter.
Grappler. What fighting game character archetype do you guys feel is most clearly missing from Smash, and what character do you feel like would be the best fit for the role?
For me, we're missing a true bizarro character- something along the lines of Voldo from Soul Calibur, a character whose movements and personality are designed to disturb.
I think the best fit Nintendo could pull for this would be Fawful from Mario & Luigi, with all of the strange outfits and theatrics he does.
(Although this could honestly be taken by - dare I say it?- Waluigi, and I'd be pretty thrilled)
I guess it's just fun tearing them apart, but not fun realizing how much info we crave in the first place. It's a cycle here, it seems.People on twitter still insisting that Skullkid "video" is real. It's a friggin second of skullkid moving awkwardly that was recorded with someone's phone, meanwhile people claimed they had the whole direct to leak and haven't shown anything except that. It's such BS.
Well I said at least to me; and that's coming from a person that is a waaaaaaay bigger fan of King K. Rool than Geno.Well people said that about K. Rool but it didn't turn out that way.
In Melee? A trophy, I assume? You know what Retro character should really be revived for Smash?
Stanley The Bugman, espically since he was given an 3D model made from the ground up in Melee.
The only problem is that he would technically be a DK character...which would him way below the likes of Dixie, Funky etc.
Speaking of Retros, how come there isn’t much talk of them regarding Ultimate?
We’ve gotten one every game starting with Melee so another one is guaranteed.
Yeah.In Melee? A trophy, I assume?
Banjo is a better one thoThe problem with Geno as a final reveal is the gaming community, even the Nintendo community, at large won't consider him a hype reveal. Geno isn't a good way to finish off strong...not that Sakurai does that anyway. So maybe Geno is last reveal.
We've already been over this.https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2...tasy_xv_pocket_edition_hd_for_nintendo_switch
Oh that's pretty awesome, I might get that.
...wait a minute...

>Direct is Sept. 6th
>One of the games is Final Fantasy 15 pocket edition being announced for the Switch
G-g-g-guys...?
Ok, sorry, I've been a bit out of the loop. We've already been over this.
There's a bit of that with WFT tbh. Not in a creepy way or anything, but in terms of her attacks and hitboxes being odd. Her regular movement isn't really bizarre at all though. What fighting game character archetype do you guys feel is most clearly missing from Smash, and what character do you feel like would be the best fit for the role?

For the next direct Sakurai should be outside so we can speculate on the clouds again.
Got deconfirmed two days ago. I'm going to assume you didn't bother to read the leak or you would have realized that it was fake.Ok, sorry, I've been a bit out of the loop.
Kinda taking this and going kind of a different direction. As a fighting game enthusiast...What fighting game character archetype do you guys feel is most clearly missing from Smash, and what character do you feel like would be the best fit for the role?

My boi is a weird combination of 2 archetypes: rushdown and heavyweight. I could imagine Boshi getting in but with more of a focus on one or the other...What fighting game character archetype do you guys feel is most clearly missing from Smash, and what character do you feel like would be the best fit for the role?

A literal cloud confirmed for smash?!?! You heard it here first. For the next direct Sakurai should be outside so we can speculate on the clouds again.
You have NO idea...A literal cloud confirmed for smash?!?! You heard it here first.
The main reason nobody is talking about them is that Sakurai said he hopes we don't expect too many newcomers in this game, and the sheer amount of Echo Fighters and limited amount of new stages seems to further evidence that we aren't going to get the same amount of new content that we've become accustomed to, meaning things such as "WTF" and retro characters are likely in danger of not having high enough priority to make it in over the fan favorite picks that Sakurai seems to be favoring this time (or more relevant picks such as Inklings or a new Pokémon). Further silencing talks of retro newcomers is the early reveal of fan-favorite retro representative Takamaru as an Assist Trophy, leaving few obvious picks. You know what Retro character should really be revived for Smash?

"Everyone is here, even Randall."You have NO idea...
It bothers me people use this expression in all but the correct way; I think it's all but certain to happen
A Stand fighter. No, Rosalina doesn't count. I want something straight out of Heritage for the Future. What fighting game character archetype do you guys feel is most clearly missing from Smash, and what character do you feel like would be the best fit for the role?

Melee Yoshi looks so ****ing goofy lol.You have NO idea...
Lakitu for smash hype. You have NO idea...
Yeah, too many pop up all the time and are too numerous to keep up with them all. Plus I'm not on this site for hours every day. EmbarrassEmbarrassEmbarrassGot deconfirmed two days ago. I'm going to assume you didn't bother to read the leak or you would have realized that it was fake.
That's for Smash 6: The Super Smash Vlog. For the next direct Sakurai should be outside so we can speculate on the clouds again.
A defensive character based entirely around counters and poking. Not like the characters with a counter, I'm talking straight up a ton of special moves being based on counters. Like Hakumen's drive or Geese's counter grabs. What fighting game character archetype do you guys feel is most clearly missing from Smash, and what character do you feel like would be the best fit for the role?
