Smile because I'd remember the scene in Super Paper Mario where the characters literally are just in a featureless white void.

There are some opinions that are opinions. And some that are objectively wrong.

The hate mainly comes from the fact that I don't really understand them, in terms of language and popularity. It also explains why I cringe at their music (language). Not sure how to get past that, but since I always a least try a character to see how they play, I won't ignore them there.

What is an RPG?

I don't even know anymore, I thought I did.

In my mind, it's always been stuff that takes the main aspects of tabletop games like D&D or Shadowrun into their games, such as levelling systems, character customization, stats, etc; but the definition for video games has become so wide I don't know how people consider half of the genre an RPG.

Zelda definitely shouldn't be considered one by any stretch of the definition, though.

When is he 'ever' mature?

The last time I saw him was he was throwing an almighty tantrum because people were calling out Garditelle as being bogus, and his argument was nothing more than a "Nuh-UH, you're DUMB for not believing this!!!!!" more or less.


Maybe it's because I was raised in a hard home, but bad kids get the paddle, and this guy acts like a spoiled brat who's had everything handed to him his whole life, so when he runs into the slightest amount of opposition or even disagreement for that case, it turns into "NEENER NEENER NEENER, CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

I’m not in any way trying to demean you. I hope I’m not overstepping, in fact. I just don’t see him responding better to insult if he already didn’t respond well to a disagreement.

It’s less about the arguing and more that it’s an argument in an inappropriate setting like a forum where the rest of us have to see it. I’m not asking you to change your mind or the way you feel, just asking with respect that you consider the audience, even if he won’t.

The paddle was my teacher, too, by the way. I get it.

I agree with the majority of this.
IS even made M!Robin the default as more people gravitated towards him, because a lot of people from what I know don't dig the female version as much. This is just like how F!Corrin is the default now for the same reason.
Also, as adorable as Green is and how great it is that she's finally here, you literally have Red right there.
I can't really talk about the inklings outside of me digging their mechanics in Smash, given I never played Splatoon.
at the very least Richter has blue holy water flames, and that does a bit more for me from an effects standpoint for some reason.

I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach when I saw people rating Isaac 70% or higher in the RTC thread (some as high as freaking 90).

I still think he has a pretty good chance but he's definitely not a sure thing and was never as likely as K. Rool was.

Going back to this because I believe that this is one of, if not the most important things Sakurai has said indicating the possibility of third-party characters in Smash Bros.

The question is, what are the "major globally-recognized franchises" that are left? If I had to speculate, here's some I'd say:

• Kingdom Hearts
• Persona
• Cave Story (most likely indie choice imo)
• Monster Hunter
• Devil May Cry
• Tales of
• Tekken (previously considered)
• Minecraft
• DOOM (significant to gaming history)
• Crash Bandicoot (if it's popular in Japan)

Why does no one ever talk about tetra when it comes to Zelda representation? It pretty much seems to be a rotating door of Skull Kid, Impa and occasionally Tingle. Tetra deserves better imo.

I'm down with this next to unique Impa I definitely want Tetra in Smash, she does deserve better.

It's a shame that General Scales is a mostly forgettable villain though. When you finally do get to face him, all that he does is wait for you to attack. And when you do attack, Andross quickly intervenes and orders Scales to give Fox the Krazoa Spirit.

While it's true iconic status doesn't always translate into popularity, in the case of Skull Kid it does. People were really upset when he was skipped over in Hyrule Warriors (it still baffles me how the Majora's Mask pack didn't have the guy who wears Majora's Mask), and rejoiced when they finally added him in Legends.


And need I remind you all of the Terrible Fate video about him.
