Did this happen before with Smash 4 or other smash games? maybe they just added new Mother music, like Pollyanna but with Lyrics and that's what is the reason of all this problem.
I hope so, that way I can turn off Shovel Knight and pretend he isn't in Smash.

From what I recall, yes. Not sure Nintendo-sanctioned events, but at least at EVO and other tournaments that Nintendo sponsored, there were stage restrictions due to copyright issues which pretty much led to omega stages just being banned in general at tourneys.

I personally see it as a real possibility, though I do not see it very likely, but you never know. If Sakurai is paying ample attention to adding third party picks from world-wide popular franchises, Frogger could be included. Even though the amount of Konami characters we have might be too much, we could still see more. Konami seems to be very open with using their IPs with what we have represented in Smash thus far with Castlevania, Metal Gear, and Bomberman present in the game.

Evil Ryu would probably work better as one of Ryu's palette options.
Oooor… maybe it's music of Mother 3, hinting a newcomer from that game, like Claus… I dunno. The fact that they don't say directly what the issue is, makes me think it's something that would hint something big or a new reveal, and they aren't allowed to.

Hard to say. Kirby is just too darn friendly. Only ones he doesn't get along with are beings of pure evil, in which case he kills them and them comes back and kills their souls for good measure.
He is now a friend of Marx and Dark Meta Knight, Kirby's friendship power must stop!
Even though he's one of the Kirby Characters I don't want in Smash, he is still a good boy and shouldn't have his reputation ruined by him being called a Rival of Kirby.
I remember seeing it somewhere on here, but isn't Bandanna Dee the Luigi of Kirby? Like not as bad, but defintely more cautious in a fight. I can see that being played up more than hero/rival.
Oh right, I mean't underwhelming in my opinion if I'm going with something specific. whoops. More power to the Gardevoir fans.
