Honestly I disagree, again, Dark Pit was added last minute with only 9 gameplay influencing changes total iirc which is a disservice to Dark Pit's character, his whole shtick is that he hates being similar to Pit and wants his own identity.
Guys, I don't get why you're so confident in *reads notes* the character that they delayed Brawl for when it was JUST about to finish development just to add him in coming back in the second sequel
Well, that, and that most of them were very underwhelming. Only the Miis and Palutena had true customs. Everyone else just had really bland variations on their moves.
Why is it that everyone who says 'Sakurai only uses stuff from his Kirby games' always fails to remember he changed his Final Smash from something that originated in Super Star to an ability from Return to Dreamland?
Due to the game's information being released soon, we don't want joke leaks anymore. Please only reply with serious leaks(even if they are probably fake).
Im not saying that there should be no talking, but rather that they should haven't been talking constantly, ESPECIALLY during the gameplay sections.
I don't care if they don't shut up in their home games, you don't put a gameplay montage of a character in a trailer and put constant babbling and expect people to not be bothered or distracted (at least for me)

There are a few exceptions, such as Mega Man's custom special moves. Also, for Ganondorf's Warlock Blade, he uses his sword to attack, instead of his fist.

I think I am fine with that, actually. Developing all of those different moves would be a nightmare for the developers.
Plus, I think almost all customs are good. There are some ones that I think are just trash and need to change, but they did good with customs overall.
The problem with customs is that unlocking all of them takes way too long and forever. Too random.
It is just that there was not enough Kirby songs in my opinion. Kirby's songs are quite sharp and deserved more than remixes. Like there barely any new songs. There were new songs, but barely any.

Considering every trailer represented the games they were from, downgrading the Palutena trailer in favor of more gameplay only and less KI treatment would’ve been foolish...also showing the moves is needed, but the telling is equally important in Uprising (even the Bayonetta trailer has a good amount of talking and sass to fit with her games)
It was something we discussed in early April when MasterofHyrule talked about some props for Nintendo's E3 setup. Nothing to suggest it's fake or true.
Honestly, I'm surprised people aren't still bringing up that supposed leaked image of the new Battlefield he posted. I feel like that should've been something we kept an eye on, but it got swept under the rug fairly quick. We'll find out in three days if he was right or not.

John Cena in Smash...he is literally the greatest gaming icon not in Smash and the only true valid option to join the roster (sorry Shrek and Goku). This is completely a true leak.
Aside from the Inklings' Splattershot being on display, not really. Everything he talked about was memorabilia of a likely veteran we already expected.
Didnt the Vergeben leak say something about ridely having a "Presence" at e3 besides being in the game... could be a prop of some kind.
seems to be an old article though so no actual confirmation those props are there just that someone months ago leaked they would be right? so no actual confirmation on those characters cause that would be pretty big to know bayo is coming back it would mean Sonic almost surely and Shulk not being replaced by rex or something which people have speculated about a bit. Hopefully all these vets return either way, still pulling for no cuts personally.
Zeta Metroid: The Metroid are the namesake of the series, and (obviously) heavily recurring. This stage of its life-cycle is bipedal and armed to the teeth, so it could fit in Smash better than you'd think.
Honestly, though, I imagine that Samus Returns released too late to get the Metroid as a character. While I see the designs of Samus and Zero Suit Samus being updated, that's a lot easier to do after roster finalization than an entire new character.
Speaking of Metroid, though, Sylux could still potentially happen for promotional reasons. Considering that we knew Sylux was going to appear in Prime 4 when he (she? it? they?) appeared in an endgame tease stealing a Metroid. If Sakurai wanted to, including Sylux to coincide with more Prime stuff would not be completely out there.
Hell, Dark Samus even has a chance of reappearing if
someone decides to recreate the Metroid Prime again. Dark Samus was simply a Metroid Prime that fused with Samus' suit, after all, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. Hell, it could be Sylux who does it with that Metroud hatchling he (she? it? they?) stole. Plot reasons could relate to revenge against Samus or desire to use Prime as a weapon.
Can confirm - was known as the Pac-Man guy for the Smash 4 speculation period because I was his most vocal proponent. Before I knew it, I was among the more active members of the board.
Personally, I think the design does what it attempts to in making a character that looks distinct while still being simple.
The combination of traditional Japanese garb and the distinct red and periwinkle color scheme helps to make him easily recognizable. The biggest issue with the Smash 4 design is that it lacks the blue. Add that and pay special attention to details like the color of his sheath and the metal gauntlets and he'll be great. Maybe add some more distinctive texturing to his clothes, but nothing more than that seems necessary. Oh, and I don't care whether his hair is blue or black.

If it means anything, Jonneh thinks Ridley could receive an amiibo to promote the new Metroid Prime game. That would be something sensible to see at E3
So, I made it.
I actually finished my exams. All's well.
So I've been absent from this thread (and the site as a whole) for the past two days.
Can I get a quick recap of anything of interest that happened while I was gone? I'd be really grateful.

wait if this is real then Shulk was deemed to them as demo/tournament/reveal material? Wow that makes me really happy tbh
same with Captain Falcon and Duck Hunt
