The downside is being extremely weary (or wary idk I get em mixed up) of the doc possibly being exposed if there is one. Chances are there is, though it's possible there was not. This is bad because if a townie gets mislynched today, unless the doc can protect himself at night, then scum can target the doc tonight to win. if the doc is kept secret, it's possible that he could protect the correct person that the scum tries to hit tonight saving us and giving us a day 5.

Wow I'm sorry, I thought I posted that on the ChibiCat account.

Wow, I ****ed up. I'll admit it, that was a big mistake. I see a big case building against me, and I guess it's understandable.

Mass claim? I suppose, but anyone can lie at this point. How do we know you're not just scum trying to find the doctor?

I find it convenient that MK and Chibi both voted for me right off the bat, bandwagon much? I'm going to write up a post on Chibi when I have the chance (I've legit been really busy lately), I have a very strong feeling that he is not town.

I wouldn't mind a no lynch, but we should discuss people's thoughts here first before jumping to that decision.

I didn't "bandwagon" you. Can you quit playing this little "poor me!" game and acknowledge the legit argument I have against you? However, I look forward to your post on Chibi; I share that suspicion.

EVERYONE LOOKING FOR A NO LYNCH: Uhmmmmmmm, you guys must be ********. A No-Lynch is the ONLY option that guarantees we lose a town member only. WTF?

^Especially considering his hostility towards a mass claim as noted above. In most games, the doctor CAN protect himself, correct? Or am I mistaken?

I've been in far more games where the Doc wasn't allowed to protect himself than vice versa.

I'm just saying it's not a guaranteed thing that he can or can't I suppose.

I also thought of mass claiming as well when the day started, and it certainly holds its merit, but that doctor thing is the only thing stopping me really.

I'm not trying to play "poor me." I ****ed up, it's my fault that Rockin died. I went off of a suspicion and I made a mistake.

I'm going to try to have the post up later tonight, but if I have a lot of homework I may have to put it off until tomorrow. It will be up soon, though.

Well we're going to lose a town member either way. No lynch ensures that we do not lose the game by lynching a townie. I see what you're saying though, and I feel like it should only be used as a last resort if we don't have significant evidence showing that someone is scum.

Contradiction noted. Big time.
How is that a contradiction? Yes, I understand that I've done some things to warrant suspicion, but voting for me right off the bat before any real discussion occurs seems a lot like a bandwagon to me.

Phone post:

Vrael I'm pretty confident that I have the ability to vote based solely on my own opinions and with no need for distracting discussions. I don't need your scumbuddies to alter my opinion of voting for you. And its not like I did it completely without explanation V.V I'm not that inconsiderate. However, you said yourself that you ****ed up, so that's exactly why I voted for you, as well as everything else I said when I voted.

MK, we have a one in three chance of hitting scum if we go for a lynch toDay. If we mislynch then we lose the game. That's it.

If we NL then assuming there will be a night kill we still have 3 townies left along with the last two scum and we have a greater chance of hitting one. If we hit scum then and the night passes with a night kill, that still leaves two town with one scum and gives us the upper hand.

Enlighten me as to how anyone who suggests a No Lynch "must be ********."

Your 1 in 3 odds would be a random guess. The process of Mafia days are not random guesses. Yes, they are guesses to an extent, but they certainly are not random. A mass claim would reduce that chance, just saying. However, what you say refers to RANDOMLY choosing someone, when we know alot better than that.

To all the new(er) players:

Doc, about 85% of the time (arbitrary number), CANNOT protect himself.
In EVERY game (with one or two exceptions, based on extremely unique game mechanics, which does not describe this game), when Town=Mafia, Mafia wins.

It is MyLo toDay. That means if we lynch Town, we lose. If we No Lynch, we still have a chance to win. I'm not saying that if we do lynch, we aim for Town, but the risk is too great atm to lynch at all toDay.

I propose we NL toDay, and massclaim toMorrow.

I suppose you mean nameclaim?
and wath do we do in the minor chance event that Mafia doesn't kill, or more likely, doc successfully protects? then we have exactly the same situation again.

Kirbyo, at some point yesterDay didn't you say something about a "building case" on MK that's been going on for awhile? I'd still like to see that.

Vote No Lynch

I understand where you're coming from, MK, but I don't think we should run the risk of trying to lynch someone toDay. Odds are odds and unless something is confirmed to us then those odds don't change based on alleged evidence. Either way, we have a better chance of hitting scum Tomorrow if scum successfully NK's someone toNight.

TPK, before I try to answer your question I have to ask... What happens if the Doc is successful in his choice? Is the targeted player's role revealed to us? If so we'd definitely get some new information and maybe it would help us out during the next Day if it were to occur.

If not, or in the case that Mafia doesn't kill, then... I guess I really don't know the answer. We'd probably just throw **** back and forth and end up lynching someone since the first attempt didn't go so well. For some reason I don't suspect that we'd shoot for a No Lynch twice in a row.

So wait.

No lynch results in 3 Town, 2 Mafia. (3:2)
Town lynch results in 2 Town, 2 Mafia. (2:2)
Mafia lynch results in 3 Town, 1 Mafia. (3:1)

...I'm sorry I must be like....not getting it. How is a quick no lynch better than attempting to pick scum out. You are saying it's better to play it completely safe than take a risk?

We don't have to quickvote for a No Lynch. We can still discuss for the Day and if I think we have a better option I might change my vote later.

And at that last point, well, that's just what I think. Considering we're approaching endgame I would go about all this carefully, but I guess I understand if you disagree.

whose role will be revealed to who? I can't remember a single game where the protected player was even notified he was protected.

Huh, never mind then. I suppose that all we're informed of is that there was no kill during the night.

I think his point is that there is no way to know for sure that anyone is/is not scum. But on the other hand, if we no lynch, we are still in the game and we have even more information than before.

*posting as chibo since I'm on my phone

almost every option has an equal chance of stuff happening. the thing that makes me wary of no lynching today is that were practically throwing away a townie tonight when were at tomorrow. sure it makes the lynch pool smaller, but its losing one of the townies who can help us find scum.

going with the no lynch option is simply playing by numbers (which tbh isn't stacked in our favor anyway). I would personally rather play by logic and continue scumhunting to find a target today.

all of this numbers talk and deciding to no lynch or not (instead of who to lynch) is providing a good cover for scum...

Vrael, what about the Chibi post that you promised? I'd also like to hear your opinions on Kirbyoshi and MK.

Paprika, I'd like to hear your thoughts on everyone and who is most suspicious to you.

Kirbyoshi, I'm still waiting for that MK case. You said the other Day that you wanted him or TPK to be the lynch, why TPK? Why are SSBF's opinions regarding ChibiCat 'null' to you? What's your opinion of Vrael?

Chibi, what do you think of Kirby?

MK, who are the last two scum iyo?

****ing Search. Been hurtin' me as well.

Just answer what you can for now, hopefully it can be enabled again before the deadline and we can get everything cleared up.

Kirbyoshi, can you answer the other questions without it?

Still waiting on the rest of you guys as well

It's getting increasingly hard for all Mafia games to operate now that search function is down.
I've noticed a severe activity decrease in all of my games.

This game is just not too active and I really don't have much to contribute right now.

I asked every single one of you a question and not every single one of them requires the search function to answer.

Next time everyone replies to my questions I'd appreciate a reason as to why they were neglected before.

Now that I think about it, everyone was asked at least one question that didn't require Search to answer. If you feel like you need it to answer a question, then make that clear while you answer, but you can still give me a general idea of what you're thinking.

Kirby, Vrael, the Chibi/MK cases are an exception. I seriously wish SWF can get Search back up before the game is over so I can see them, though.

I honestly don't know about Kirbyoshi. He's been flying a bit under my radar, but at this point he doesn't seem scummy. I guess he's been replaced, so I'll be watching his replacement more carefully now.

MK I'm not so sure about. He's pretty impulsive, and I don't know what to think about his angry posts regarding SSBF self hammering. He could have been legitimately pissed off, or he could be covering up that they were scumbuddies. I doubt the latter, but you never know. He seems town to me at this point.

I didn't answer this earlier because I didn't see the end of your question, the first part was all that registered with me. Sorry.

A replacement on Day 4 really? A modkill is much more appropriate tbh. Now we have to wait for Sephiroth to catch up on almost SIXTY pages of game before we can essentially "continue." It's not that I'm for a modkill per se, but this is going to make the game stall even more -_-
