Yep, pretty sure I'm calling off work Tuesday.

Not just for this, but I need time to heal from my back surgery I'm getting in a few hours.

Well hopefully we can see the menus, roster, and overall GUI of the game. It'll defiantly be nice to see more characters in action and personally I'm curious to see Male Wii Fit skin in action. This would also be a good time to at least show more of the obvious vets and a few people are skeptical about like Wolf of Lucas along side one or maybe two newcomers. Seeing a bit of the modes and a new stage builder would also be pretty nice. Also a big thing people are waiting for is a release date, just speculation but I believe because of this direct the game might be coming sooner than we might think because we got directs for games that came out only a month or two later.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that stages would be nice too! I would defiantly enjoy seeing more of layouts of stages we only got glimpses of!!!!!

Talking about newcomers, I don't think they will be able to throw fake out trailers like for Villager and Rosalina due to an all smash direct ^^;. As for the newcomers it's hard to say who we might get, I'll just be happy if we get one at all. I guess probable ones are Palutena, Ridely, Miis, Chrom, Dixie, etc. but let's just be prepared just in case of a major curve ball like with Wii fit Trainer.

At the end I just hope this will be a fun direct with plenty of info to keep us analyzing/speculating for weeks.

Copying this over because of hype: Smash direct? This basically means multiple reveals at once, more footage, maybe... release date? Picture this...

Link is walking through a forest when he happens upon an old Japanese temple, suddenly he gets attacked by a mysterious samurai, Takamaru slashes into battle! Newcomer right off the bat, they continue fighting until Zelda comes along, who then transforms into Sheik, who helps Link. Then it gets dark and Ganondorf slams his sword down between Link and Takamaru, cue gameplay footage of a fight between Link, Takamaru, Sheik, and Ganondorf, who now has a completely new moveset. Cut back to the CG and a rain of light arrows come down as Pit makes his appearance, he raises his hand and calls upon his goddess,Palutena descends into battle! More footage showcasing Palutena and Pit against Link and Takamaru, cut back to CG again to see a charging glow in the background, Samus releases her Zero Laser towards them and then her suit crumbles to reveal a returning Zero Suit Samus, more gameplay footage with randomly appearing Ice Climbers until it cuts to CG again, a giant shadow leaps onto the screen, Ridley wasn't too big crashes into battle! More gameplay footage before the obligatory ending CG scene.

What you didn't notice was the box hiding in the direct, a codec plays at the end of the direct, veteran Solid Snake returns to the battlefield!
Three newcomers, five veterans, prepare the hype, prepare to be disappointed.
