Do you ALWAYS have to be an instigator of arguments? Especially when Niko said he was considering Melee... seriously, you make me think of you as a joke troll sometimes Nate. You'd rather not see us or something? We make you sick that much?

I honestly don't give two ****s about coming out to this tournament, Sliq or not, but god ****... you just have to find something to get antsy about, don't you?

I like you Nate, but you sure aren't reminding me why. =/

Anyways, if I do make it out, I'll probably enter Brawl singles.

^Naw Josh, I'm not instigating anything.
This is a BIG brawl tournament for the scene, its going to be REALLY important for the PR that is made afterwards... and thats why we're running pools as well.

We would surely die trying to run pools and not having every possible setup a brawl setup, I'm just being realistic.
For instance if there was a similiar thing going on for melee, It'd be pretty stupid to try and get a 6 man brawl tournament started up in the corner of it.

Anyways,

Bug: If you come top five I'll give you a pat on the back. Bring extra money for these mm's.

nate isn't trying to instigate at all. it's just this is a brawl tournament. it's not a smash bros tournament, it's a brawl tournament, meaning that any game that is not brawl won't have a tournament spot here.

let's not be biased here. it's not about the melee vs brawl debate. that's a different matter.

I would say the exact same thing nate said to anyone asking for a third strike tourney or guilty gear tourney @ nikos.

we needn't get offended over this, because it's not about whether melee is better or worse.. it's just about giving our game the attention.

Can't wait till I get good enough to MM you guys, I want to see what this is all about, the adrenaline of losing money (oh wait, that's already done when I join tournaments, balls!)

I'm going to have to agree with Jake on this one. The way things are looking right now there won't be near enough time to cater to the melee crowd. I would love to but I just can't. We're gunna have a big turnout and pools is gunna need to get done as fast as possible. Then we have singles bracket, doubles bracket, crews. Then everyone wants to have friendlies.

However Max and I are planning to have a big thing in october if all goes well, there will be melee and brawl.

If you end up making enough profit then you should host every triweekly at a venue that way i could make it to every one :)

2 teams of Minimum of 4-5 to a maximum of what I think to be 10 (maybe more I'm not sure.

Anyway, lets just say 2 teams of 6. Each person on that team will represent their main and each team has a set total amount of stocks depending on how many people there are in a team. In this case it's 6 so for brawl it would go 3 (stocks) * 6 (players) = 18 stocks per team.

Double blind pick for which player goes first from each team. This is when the crew battle starts.
Match 1 ends. If the person who won lost any stocks they'd have to remove X amount of stocks they lost in the previous match in the next match and the losing team would send in their next guy with 3 stocks.

so then the score would be

(18-X) to 15

with X being the amount of stocks the winner lost and 15 being the amount of stocks left for the losing team.

Repeat this until each team runs out of players to fight and you come out with a winning team.

I've got a few friends coming, they may not be that great but they're really into it. Maybe just 1 guy, I dunno. We'll see. I know we might have a limit...

@ work now. highly doubtful i can make it. This job rocks, but my coworkers are all like 35 and alcoholic and really apathetic adults.

i work at a book store. they hate working saturdays. because im new (1.5 months) , i get shafted.

*sigh*

i'll try for next time i guess, guys. by that time i'll have a little more clout.

max, there hasn't been any brawl tournaments in Toronto. I'd go if I could and they were in Toronto.

But I mean..there are none. And I'm really ****in busy.
