Smash 4 Speculation Chart [WE UPDATE NOW]

In regards to Other 3rd Party and Namco-Bandai characters... Do we really need all the possibilities? I mean, yes, we can take the time to list out every one of them, but in the long run it feels like more work than reward to list side characters. 3rd Party characters are perhaps the most restricted form of characters of all. Unless they're either the main character or have been specifically stated to be wanted in Smash Bros., we should shorten our list.

To start, keep Ryu (as the main character) and M. Bison (as noted for creators' interest in Smash), but remove Chun-Li.

I disagree about removing Chun-Li since she's one of the most popular and recognized characters from the Street Fighter franchise.

She, Ryu and M. Bison are enough for the chart, in my opinion.

By that logic, Ken should be on there too on part of also being one of the most popular and recognized characters. Regardless of how Luigified Ken is to Ryu, there would certainly be a double-standard if we include Chun-Li but not him.

Otherwise, less is more. It seems extremely unprobable that either Chun-Li nor Ken would get in before Ryu or M. Bison would on part of them having more significance to Street Fighter beyond being popular.

Chun-Li is typically the go-to character from the SF series for Capcom's crossovers aside from Ryu.
That is why she will remain on the chart alongside him.

Alright, to save up on time, there's going to be considerably less 3rd Parties than initially planned.
Just going with ones that have mention (or by association) and have notable fan demand for non-Namco characters, and just a few series for Namco.
They will also be put together.

Sorry for the disappointment.

They were at the hight of their popularity 12 years ago, I don't think they've aged well enough to be in SSB 2013.

I honestly think we'll see a chunk of the following in the trailer tomorrow:

Ridley, K.Rool, Palutena, Shulk, Lloyd/Pac-Man, or Megaman.

King K. Rool and Palutena are very likely to show up.
And Lloyd or Pac-Man are likely to show up in the trailer, at the very least before Mega Man. Seeing Mega Man will likely be a bonus to the trailer, much like Snake was.

Shulk is the only one I'm on the fence about. He's highly requested, but being from only one game makes me think he's low-profile enough to where he'll be revealed at some other time, much like Olimar, Dedede, or Diddy.

To recap, Mega Man and Villager (Animal Crossing) confirmed.

Mega Man comes with Rush and uses Robot Master attacks.

Villager not only puts Tom Nook out the Window, but his recovery seems to be nicking Balloon Fighter's gear, puttign him in doubt too.

Oh and Pit was shown to have new attacks so Palutena could potentially not be his FS anymore.
