I've been thinking, just for completion's sake should we put up Brawl's Char select screen on the OP so we can tick off the characters that are confirmed to return and cross off any confirmed to be gone? I was thinking because there's a lot of speculation about characters being dropped plus if it's anything like Brawl's build-up there'll be a lot of return confirmations.

I think they'll show off games and make some announcements. They're just not gonna do a big conference and compete with Sony and MS's console reveals. Remember Brawl was reveal in a smallish closed door thing at E3.

My issue with Lucina was the fact she looked like Marth, which would be reason for Sakurai to avoid including her.

It was a stupid reason, as there are multiple options around that;
1. Do not use Marth's Awakening design.
2. If Marth's Awakening design is used, use Lucina's Great Lord design.
3. Simply don't do anything for the sake of making them have different outfits as Marth neither wears a mask nor has long hair, depending on which route they go with for Lucina.

Since Lucina would have a different fighting style than Marth, it would be painfully obvious who's who to the point that confusion between the two would only be for the truly dimwitted.

As for my stance on Chrom coming in first....honestly at this point, with the fact Lucina has proven to be a more popular character time and time again in both the West and East, Lucina actually has a strong chance to be added in place of Chrom.

EDIT: On Viridi, note that I said I was considering her.
My reasoning about Sakurai going out of his way to prevent you from fighting her merely made me hesitant to add her to the chart.
However, she does seem to have "pet" status not unlike Meta Knight, so who knows.

I'd actually prefer Lucina over Chrom any day. However, I expect Lucina to be an alternate cotume of sorts. At least that's why I'm shooting for.

Chart no longer is about characters getting in over the others in the chart.
While Palutena is obviously the main choice, there still is the off-chance that Viridi gets added as a low priority semi-clone of her. Same with Medusa.

Id rather have chrom instead, just visually it would be a bigger contrast than lucina next to marth. I doubt her chances due to being so similar to him at this point (not saying they will be clones or anything though because i know they have many things that differentiate them besides that), and we know marth isnt going anywhere since hes been in 3 games since brawl.
Im hoping they go with either one of these designs for marth rather than the awakening one

Okay, enough trolling...

Actually, FE1 Marth and Pit's designs are justified:

• Marth's Japanese name is Mars, the same name as the Roman God of War, while Pit is partially based on Eros/Cupid, the Greek/Roman God of Love.
• Like I said before, if you check FE1's designs, you will notice that the designs are based on ancient Greek and Imperial Roman soldiers' armors (which includes, you guessed it, lack of pants). Kid Icarus is based on Greek Mythology... I don't need to explain anything further, now do I?

Though I do admit that Marth's FE1 design makes him look more like a woman than any of his other designs...

Dunno, still haven't played Xenoblade, even though I own it. Guess I just spoiled myself. Anyway, is she imporant/prominent/popular?

I'm not going to spoil plot related elements related to Fiora, because that would ruin the fun. But I will say that yes the character is notable in Xenoblade and is part of one of the bigger plot points in the game.
