They were all on Nintendo systems. We have little to no clue which one would be chosen if Tales got a rep so they are all there.

The Tales games switch protagonists every game. Those three just appeared on Nintendo consoles.

The Tales series is no different from many RPGs like Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, where the protagonist is different from game to game.

Regarding this series, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have all the main characters from the Tales games released on Nintendo systems on the chart, because if Namco decides to have a Tales character on Smash, they will likely choose one of the protagonists.

Have you not seen the Fire Emblem topics? Absolutely disgusting.

Regardless, no matter what is vocally stated, characters are not simply going to removed from the chart because people don't like it. It's a chart for characters that have a viable chance of appearing, not which one is better then the other.

I didn't state anything that saod to remove those characters form Golden's list. Hell, he could put Ronald McDonald on it for all I care, but that doesn't mean I want those characters in the actual game.

So quick question about the Tales characters. Has the creator of the series mentioned a preferred character that he would want added yet? I myself, not having a huge amount of knowledge about the series would think that Lloyd would be most likely, but again, I don't know much. After all, if the creator wants one of his particular characters in the game and Sakurai were to ask him, BOOM, they're in.

Plus I think Lloyd is freaking awesome....and no, Daisy will not be her own character.

The only reason I bring it up is because no matter what the fans think, the character chosen is not necessarily up to them. This could pretty much turn into another Snake situation, not that it would be a bad thing.

Basically, the fans can argue all they want as to which character should represent Tales. But if Higuchi wants Lloyd, then Lloyd it is.

Err, to be honest Isaac and Matthew look almost the same to me.

Asking Isaac to be an alt for Matthew is similar to saying that Naked Snake should be alt for Solid Snake.

It would work since they basically know the same/similar moves (also putting Matthew out in front since he is the current lead, but having Isaac an unlockable alt character for the "legendary" purposes). Makes more sense that way than the other way around.

I am not using bias, I think they would pick him since he would probably be the lead for Golden Sun 4.

I really don't care who gets in from them, but I don't see Saki over Isa for a Sin & Punishment rep.

Well actually, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is supposedly the start of the main series with Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age acting as prologues. So in theory if that's going to be emphasized, Matthew would be chosen.

...We don't have any proof Camelot would override Sakurai's decision to pick the Marth of the series. So far no one has asked Sakurai to include the most recent character in a series without also including the most popular.

And even if we did get a prequel, one, it would be too late to effect SSB4's roster, and two, that wouldn't necessarily effect Isaac's popularity and role as face of the series. Marth had like three protagonists after him...

There is one thing I will say however. Zael, Aeron, and Wonderful 101 Guy (why we still have no name...?) are only temporary removals until their liscensing issues are dealt with and it is confirmed they are owned by Nintendo rather than their 3rd Party developers.
