Ah hang on, it doesn't seem like he's playable, but he's making an "appearance" similar to Argorok. Oops. Sorry if I get your hopes up.
I never was implying he was playable, just that he was appearing.

I wasn't getting my hopes anyway, since I never was under the impression he was playable at all. If he is, cool, if he isn't, fair enough.

Speaking of which, I really like the way they made Ornithopod's fight in Fossil Fighters

They jab the enemy

Edit:

Ouranosaurus DID have the thumb spike. AND a back sail

fossil fighters has such a silly concept
like. "ok we've managed to resurrect species that are tens to hundreds of millions of years old. what now, henry"
"oh well uh

let's just make them fight and see what happens"

Dude, if I was able to bring back dinosaurs with new abilities, clearly the first thing I would do is give a fire-breathing Tyrannosaurus Rex to a little kid.

I mean, would you not?

I like to think that, after mankind perishes, aliens in a distant future will revive us and make us fight for bloodsport.

Or, you know, like to collect the different types of humans and keep them in a box

Just came back from a brief hiatus and I hope dinosaurs become the staple of discussion for the Smash 4 social thread.
Pleistocene Megafauna are way cooler than dinosaurs, though.

I should probably go post that in the Unpopular Opinions thread.

I don't remember Link having that pissed off expression when charging the bow.

Does his bow always had that design, or is it from his costume?

I've been playing around with my gamecube controller with melee, and I think there might be lag in my button presses.

So that led me to a question, whats the best gamecube controller to use for smash? Oh am I delusional and they are all pretty equally good. :/

Raccoon, this depends on your setup too. If you are using your AV cables on an HD tv, the time it takes to change a lower input resolution to a non-native format can give the impression of input lag. You would feel the lag in other games too regardless of hte controller. The only other way to test it is to use another Gamecube controller. Skip the Gamestop brand controllers even if they are cheap - they suck pretty hard for a game like Smash Bros.

@ Silvera Silvera he's still drawing the bowstring taut in the former picture. The arrowhead is flashing because it's fully charged in the latter.

Thats probably it. Is there anyway to fix that?

I'm not sure, and it really depends on how fast the TV can convert it. There are probably TVs out there that convert things to within a nearly imperceptible margin (~10 ms or something) but AV stuff is getting older so there may not be much more R&D on that kind of thing going ahead so it will just come down to the power of the TV. They are more computers than anything these days. Uh, if your PC can run it you can skip that altogether and emulate the game.

You can find a good CRT fairly cheap these days.

They could totally make a ghost busters version of pokemon

using the traps to capture ghosts.
