Here's why Metal Mario is in this game.

- He's an edgier version of Mario. People love doppelgangers and anti-heroes.
- He's easy to make. Literally a re-textured Mario.
- As Sehnsucht pointed out, he's metal. He is likely to be seen as a "tough" version of Mario.

I don't think there's gonna be a character tomorrow. I'd change my avi to Medli for a week if there's a character tomorrow.

However, as far as Mario Kart 8, I don't care about that games player roster, I just want the game and what it can offer.

You feel super good afterwords if you called it. I'm not disappointed if they are not character reveals, because I love Sakurai like a father, and he has a good sense of humor when he does give us throwaway pics. Also there are stages, items, and character tidbits to be explored

Also, the only real reason I want a character is so that people can stop complaining about the drought. I'm fine with all the gameplay news we've been getting.

-Later revealed character that's appearing as a clone.
-Not actually a clone, just lookalike
-I actually got hype from it

I grew up on the stuff. While you folks enjoyed some classic stuff and pop, I grew up on Van Halen and classical.
While I don't primarily listen to that stuff now, I still listen to it once in a while.

Better than generic pop. 90% of it usually has at least one innuendo or is straight up risque, which sickens me. Can't I just listen to music just to listen to music? I mean, every corner of music has it. Rock has that, Pop has it, EDM has Trap (though I note, not all Trap is like that)

But some bands like AC/DC and The Scorpions are a little notorious.

Yeah, those bands were great, but where are they now? The ones around now that I can call favorites are Linkin Park, Nickelback, and Daughtry

Anything past 2002 for me usually is EDM/Electronic or Coldplay. Though I dabble in punk.
Anything before 2002 is usually old rock or classical.

I mostly listen to video game music from the 80's-90's.
That, and OC Remixes.

I usually prefer instrumental music. I actually have difficulty in understanding the lyrics of a song without reading them.

I'm partially deaf, you see. To elaborate, I have poor hearing when it comes to high pitched sounds (my hearing for sounds above 1000 Hz is below normal and the higher the pitch, the worse I hear). In contrast, I actually hear certain ranges of lower pitched sounds better than most people do.

(By the way, a normal human ear can hear sounds from 20 Hz to 20000 Hz. The higher the frequency's value, the higher the pitch.)

I'm not into modern rock either, there's something about that old type of rock and roll... that kind of music just soothes with soul!

The funny thing about them is just how much they're desperate to make you believe their music is dark and edgy.
It gets to the point where they get cheesy. And I love me some cheese.
