You honestly are wording it so it sounds more like facts, which is all I can get from it. I get that that's not what you're trying to do, but it still comes off that way.

I won't try to convince you of anything, I just know that I'm not going to pull the wool over my head and hope for any third parties.

I'm neutral on all choices, to be honest. Unless they had zero Nintendo appearances and/or originated in an Anime/Manga. Everybody else that can qualify? Eh, who knows. As much as I'd love to see Brian from Quest 64, there's two issues; While he originally was third party, nobody owns him at all, so he could become 1st Party if Nintendo buys him, since they "technically" own him due to the Quest License being unused, and the games are all on Nintendo systems.

The other is the series is obscure as hell. If he gets bought by Nintendo, then and only then do I think he has a legitimate chance. And still low.

There are only two characters that I would absolutely love to see, they're in my sig, though they aren't the one's I'm supporting. I've already thrown out any hope that Banjo will ever amount to anything again, and that applies to appearing in Smash. Even if I try to delude myself into thinking he has some semblance of a chance, it would just feel biased to me on my part since Banjo is my favorite series. The other character does have a bit of a chance, but I know it's not going to happen unless he somehow pulls out major support, or if his creator manages to talk Sakurai into including him. Maybe I'm just pessimistic, but I like to think of it more as realistic.

Anyway, I never made a sig like that. Mainly cause my sigs have other stuff in it. >_>

Yeah, Banjo and Rayman, my first and second favorite series that hold my first and second favorite games respectively. Even just getting one of them would blow my mind and make me insanely happy, probably happier than a Sonic/Mega Man fan when their respective character made the cut.

I try to shove it down though so I don't end up disappointed. But between UbiSoft supporting the Wii U and Ancel actually saying that he wants Rayman in Smash, I just keep thinking about it, and it just hurts. Imagining Banjo coming home, getting in Smash, and even getting a new game hurts even worse.

That's kinda how I felt with Frozen. The only difference is that Frozen has more memorable music.
Frozen for me would be a lot better if some scenes or parts of the movie weren't rushed.

Right. To be fair, both Sonic and MegaMan were severe superstars. Rayman nor Banjo is in that territory. They're awesome, though.

Waluigi's an Assist Trophy again. :urg: I think it's too late to get my hopes up. I've given up on having an interesting Mario roster. I don't find Rosalina & Luma very interesting at all. I'm disappointed we haven't seen a single new Pokemon playable yet, and it looks like it might be the ehhhhh Brawl roster again. So far, while the gameplay might be great, the roster is just screaming "meh" to me. Little Mac and MegaMan are the biggest stands out for me really. Villager isn't bad either, though.

I'm asking for some preemptive research on the subject but...

If Snake doesn't return for Smash Bros Wii U/3DS, and I were to make a support thread to bring him back to Smash Bros, would you support this?

It might be a long shot, but I'd like to give it A shot at least. If Snake doesn't make it, I'd like to campaign to get him in as a DLC character, paid or not.

So, I'm exploring the Depths. I'm doing pretty good. I got the **** scared out of me when a butcher fell from the ceiling. I rescued Laurentius and now have Pyromancies. Which is awesome as it has been OHKOing those blobs for me. Since I got ambushed by a butcher falling from the ceiling, I make sure to look up while I'm travelling. There is quite a convenient body to plunder. However I look up and see this weird blob thingy. I shoot it. It falls down. I hack at it, don't do that much damage. I get out my glowing hand and burn it to a crisp. I then came upon a chamber with like 7 of those things. That was annoying. Anyway continuing on. I find a locked door. Can't do anything with it so I go the only available way. There is like this giant cell thing separating me and a giant ass rat, the thing is ****ing huge. I ignore it since I can't get to it. There are a lot of normal sized rats now, and I mean a lot. I kill every last on of them. I then plunder a body and get the Sewer Chamber Key. I go back to the locked door. Hooray a Bonfire. I continue my exploration. I get to this narrow maze like section. I fall down a hole. I get attacked by the weird frog thingys with big round eyes. The let out some kind of smoke. Turns out the smoke is cursing me. I get cursed and die. My HP is now locked to half of it's maximum value AND I have to backtrack all the way to Oswald to get a purging stone. While not dying in the process so I can retrieve my powers from my bloody stain. I am a little butthurt over this.

Makes a good point, but data is skewed in some areas. Just a small example: he doesn't take into account how large the gaming industry has gotten over the years compared to, say, when Ocarina of Time was released, which imo is a pretty big oversight. Also misses out on when these games were released, what console they were on at the time of release, the consumer market at the time is also pretty important information that he missed out on.

There are other things wrong with the video as well, but otherwise, his main point is still somewhat valid: the familiar is what sells. Pretty much why I've refused to support many of those cash grab franchises.

The best thing that can happen is if we get a Snake reveal with him saying "Kept you waiting,huh?". But than again....he's more fitting in a Nintendo Direct.
