By the way, for those that are surprised by the clones.

You do realize it's bloody Namco developing these games, right? Tekken and Soul Calibur aren't exactly immune to that stuff. Hell for the former, using the clones in conjunction with the original is a viable strategy for the Tag Tournament games.

Tbh, I'm not a big :troll: Ridley supporter myself. A bunch of my classmates wanted him in the game, so I thought I'd rally him on.

Killer Instinct looks great and I'd like to play it despite the "free to play, buy characters instead" design.


Too bad it's on the XBone and not the Wii U where it belongs. Never forget.

Doc was my main in melee, but i'm really against he being his own character again. I mean, Sakurai himself said that he wanted to get rid of clones becouse it made him look lazy, and this is lazy as lazy can be.

Well, atleast mario tornado may be back (i really hope so) and some good changes to make him more than just Mario with a costume and pills.

Let's face it. There were clones that were their own characters and clones that really weren't. He weeded them out pretty good with Brawl.

Dr. Mario was super popular. I saw more Doc than regular Mario. It's totally great he's back, and I'm not as surprised as I thought I would be.

It would not be the first time Sakurai contradicts himself. For instance, read the first paragraph, after that... just laugh at the self-referential incoherence.

In the end, if a game isn't fun, then there's no point. Of course, it would be really easy to make a game by churning out a ton of similar characters, but that's not how I produce games.

Initially, I had considered including Lucina as one of Marth's alternate costumes. After all, she has a close relationship with him in FE:A. In such cases, even if two characters' names and voices differ, as long as they function the same way, I assign them as alternate costumes. The Wii Fit Trainers, Villagers, and Robin are examples of this setup.

However, even though Lucina shares her physical stats and techniques with Marth, the characteristics of their attacks differ. When two such similar characters function in an even slightly different manner, I give them a separate spot on the roster since that will affect battle records and whatnot. In that sense, you could say she was very lucky to join the fray!

Good effort, and this actually crossed my mind before, but it's not so similar that it debunks this leak.
EDIT: This came off snobbish. For all I know you could be entirely right. Just, like, my opinion, man.

Yeah, but the reason I think the leak is fake is because of how many facts there are supporting it fake. In an actual game, it would be way harder to pick out these things

Speaking of fighting games, I have a question for everyone.

What type of character do you prefer? I'm talking about the shoto, zoner, grappler, etc. that sort of thing.

What does liking Nintendo have to do with this?

MK9 has some of the most disjointed and choppy animations for a fighting game, good thing the problem has seemed to be alleviated in MKX.

Even if i'm not happy with the possible inclussion of Dr.Mario, i will be playing the **** out of him anyway. Dat grabs

I am going to just assume that you are trolling...

I mean Mortal Kombat's animations are jacked, of course, that much is true. But Nintendo games are CERTAINLY not renowned for their animation quality in the slightest.

I don't know. Looking at Zelda Wii U makes me think otherwise........

It's absolutely gorgeous in both artstyle and animations.
