Hmm, would you guys recommend me X/Y? Just recently got my 3DS, so idk if I should get that or just wait for OR/AS (If the game lacks trumpets I'll be severely disappointed though).

Personally, I'd wait for ORAS. There's a lot of things in XY that do need to be ironed out, and the remakes are probably going to add a lot of content with the Megas and (hopefully) an actual post-game and single player options like the Contests and Secret Bases.

It's a mixed bag for me. On one had it does some things right (Like customization. Pokemon-Amie and Super Training weren't that bad. Fairy type while I still find to be a bit shoe-horned in, it grew to me). On the other hand, it did do some things wrong as well (both pre and post story were lackluster, I didn't care much for the character nor the evil team, who I found underwhelming. And the stilted difficulty as I've said above).

You should wait until OR / AS are released. It's just a few months. I don't think it will have those trumpets everyone is excited to hear again. If anything, the sounds will be similar to those of X/Y.

Oh man, fingers crossed for the trumpets, Ruby was my favorite game due to that snazzy soundtrack, plus the game itself played faster; when I started Diamond everything just felt slow as heck, and the soundtrack wasn't that captivating. (cept for cynthia's and dialga/palkia themes)

Well, he's right, since I was never experienced with those games, and now, frankly, I'm not interested on them, either. I still recognize Pokémon as a good series, but I'm really bad at the games.

Thanks to this, I think X and Y are my last games regarding Pokémon.

I honestly think Diamond and Pearl were "slow" because of the storyline they had. Time and Space. At least it has that "relaxing" Jubilife City music and things like that. Those games were good.

Ruby and Sapphire are great, nothing wrong with them. I have heard complaints about it. One of these complaints is that you need to use Surf so many times, lol. If it's because of the story, then of course you need to use Surf. Kyogre plays a huge role in the story and so does Groudon.
Sometimes, I think Game Freak got it right with Gen 4, but the games kept improving with the new games, so Game Freak got it right with Pokémon in general.

Interesting idea, I believe that it would be better suited for the opening sequence or an adventure mode ending sequence than a trailer to be perfectly honest. It is fairly busy and ripe with a lot of characters.

It is also not very plausible as there is an overt lack of Kirby. Haha.

True, sakurai loves kirby, but ddd and meta knight are good and bad depending on the game, so their placement would be hard to do.

Well, maybe it's because Game Freak was experimenting with the DS at that time. Now they know how to develop games with it. Think about Pokémon Black and White, those games were faster than Diamond and Pearl.
I have heard that this user on a site called vStream doesn't like Black and White in general because the anime had Iris instead of the female player from BW.

I've stopped by the **** Yeah Controversial Characters blog on Tumblr and it appears that Pac-Man from the Ghostly Adventures and Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS is on the list.

I can see why people would hate that blue eyed whiny abomination from the TV Show, but the nostalgic Smash fighter with one of the most iconic gaming character of all time's BEST design. I mean talk about people hating a character for the stupidest reasons. I'll just guess that he's hated for being out of place or a "waste of slot" compared to muh "Rayman and Snake".

Nah, I'm kidding, most shows such as Simpsons and South Park have characters that don't age every year, so I accept that.

@ Yomi's Biggest Fan I actually find Pac-Man as an interesting addition to Smash Bros., and he isn't a waste of a character slot. They probably hate on the character because you know, lackluster games, I think.. but the same thing is with Sonic and Mega Man, so I don't get it.
