I had no complaints about X/Y. X/Y was the first Pokémon I played in 6 years.

As someone who actually loved Pokemon X, I can agree that the game could have been a little better. Certain Pokemon didn't deserve Mega Evolutions, the plot was a little weaker than Black/White's, the gym leaders and champion had little to no role in the story, there's little post game content, Lysandre was almost as bad as the Team Magma/Aqua crew (dat final fight outfit), and that damn EXP Share is broken.

EXP Share was the predominant reason that I loved the game, I could finally have a Pokemon TEAM. It was a great feeling.

Out of all the Gaming channels that I had subscribed to (Joshscorcher, MaverickHunterZero75, Wiidude83rebirth, The Autarch, and The Quarter Guy), they all hate Pizza Batt Jr. (aka ******* **** Jr. from No More Heroes 2). I can't blame them since he's arguably the worst part of No More Heroes 2. Crappy boss fight, awful design, irritating voice, being a Big Lipped Alligator Moment in living form, and he's the director's way of showing that revenge is meaningless (trolling his own customers). Let's hope that the antagonists for No More Heroes III (IF it really happens) can be as good as Jeanne from the first game.

I played through X using the EXP share using three full teams of pokemon(so I was rotating regularly between 18 pokemon) and very little grinding and it ended up balancing out so that the games was pretty challenging(it did get really damn hard around when I got to whatever victory road was called in that game). I usually have decent amounts of trouble getting through a pokemon game using the same 6 pokemon clear through. That is how broken the Exp. share is. It lets you keep an additional 12 pokemon sufficiently leveled with the same amount of effort.

To be honest, X/Y were easy games in general, but eh. The moment you get the EXP. Share, it just means you completed the game already. Playing Pokémon games as if they were single-player and restarting them every single time is just pointless. Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, as much as they had a good story and all that good stuff from Black and White, had at least a Challenge Mode. If that comes back in OR / AS right from the start, it would be nice. I still don't care about single-player Pokémon stuff. It's all about that competitiveness.
Also, does anyone think that TwitchPlaysPokemon is overrated?

Well it's a bit long that's why i asked lol.

Anyway:

The trailer starts and we see mega man, pac man, sonic, all fighting their respected enemies( the ghosts for pacman) They one by one defeat them and a red light flashes on their hands( it's a watch signal basically). Anyway a chopper shows up to each of them and drops a ladder down for them to climb aboard. They do and then it cuts to mario and luigi running and jumping. Then the airship music kicks in and we see them climb aboard. the ship flys off as mario and luigi climb on. Then it goes back to the ground and ganondorf comes floating by as link, zelda, midna and fi chase after him( this is if it's in the direct monday) Then we go back to mario and luigi fighting bowser jr on the ship. Bowser Jr flys in! Peach comes in for the finishing move but misses as he flys off. Then the ship starts to crash. mario and luigi jump off and land behind gannondorf and the zelda cast. They follow him and he retreats into a castle, barricading it. Inside, we see every character's enemies gathered around listening to gannondorf and now bowser who is with him about how it is finally their day. They send out basic enemies from each franchise stampede outside. But now every vet is there.( introducing ic's and ness, the starting roster not final. Pokemon reps are missing however.) The enemies come out and cause havoc as the heroes fight them off. But nearby flames get shot into a forest from their attacks. The fighters go to put it out, when greininja rises out of the stream nearby and shoots the flames out. Pikachu, charziard, lucario and greninja all come out and go to the heroes. Then as they finish off the enemies, they find the door has been reinforced. Cue back to the helicopter. Inside sonic, pac, and mega are sitting around a box not sure what to think, when all of a sudden snake comes out of the box. Snake Sneaks back In! he pulls out the aux call communicator and shows it to the 3 3rd parties. Colonel comes on: Good your all here. I have urgent news, sorry to drag you into this at sudden notice but as you know, you are all apart of the smash bros tournament. But your fellow competitors are in need of your help! All of your villains and theirs have teamed up to defeat them. We called you all here to help them out. So what do you say? They all nod. "Good because we have arrived at our destination. ll four jump out as snake blasts the door open with his rocket launcher. Then Ridley comes flying out and knocks them all back. Ridley Rampages in! Right before he can attack again though, he is shot by an arrow, a silver arrow. Dark Pit, shoots in! Dark pit, pit, and palutena have all fallen from the sky. Palutena: Good, hope you don't mind us joining the party, we are a little late, because we had a bit of a disagreement. But it is all good now. Anyway we are aware of the situation, now lets move! They charge in and start fighting everyone, the mario crew takes on their enemies and ness fights his, and so on. Except for snake, link, and pikachu. The charge into the final room as the others hold off opponents, like ridley and bowser jr. The reach gannondorf who wanted to wait rather then go to them. We see a portal behind him summoning the other villains. Then he waves his hand and another portal opens up. Out pops: Girihiam Cuts in!. But in his hands is a large capsule to which he throws to the ground. Out pops mewtwo! He looks at them and throws them against the wall. Mewtwo Strikes Back! He then joins link, snake, and pikachu remembering that he isn't evil, only made for evil. Link takes on girhiam in a sword dual as snake, mewtwo, and pikachu take gannondorf on. They finish him instantly and knock him and girihaim into the portal, sealing it for good. The other heroes barge in realizing it is all over. Untill: Master hand and crazy swoop in. The grab everyone and pick them up. One by one they are placed on a shelf in an empty room next to the castle they are in. The End! Well after the gameplay that is.

I dabble, though not as much recently. I ran/still run full bulk investment with Roar/SR/Lava Plume/Protect or EP, with either an Air Balloon or Lefties. Resists the ever omni-present Dragon/Fire (and Ground temporarily) type coverage, and you'd be hard-pressed to find any other Fire type that doesn't mind SR as much (which is good for staring down Scizor locked into BP).

The entire point of Nuzlockes is for it to be challenging. Short of implementing my own 'hard mode' rules, X/Y is easy enough even without EXP Share. So yes, EXP Share is pretty much taboo (except for people who are lazy, I guess) when it comes to 'locke. As are Pokemon-Amie, Super Training, and the Battle Chateau/Restaurants.

I feel like the game shouldn't have given you so many opportunities to exploit your EXP. I also feel like the game should not have made you avoid battles in order to get a challenge in the main story.

That was the problem in Fire Emblem: Awakening. They gave you far too many opportunities to grind. If not Risen battles then you could summon some armies to fight with with zero cost sans weapon usage. The challenge could be easily nulled. That is not so in other Fire Emblem games. In previous Fire Emblem games you had chapters with opportunities to grind only in the form of limited enemy spawns and self-healing enemies/bosses. The series lacked uncostly optional provisions for EXP exploitation, so you had to engage your units wisely.

It's all about good game design. In my opinion, I shouldn't be able to have all these blatant grinding opportunities at my disposal without a viable cost, and I shouldn't have to avoid things along the way and impose outside rules on myself in order to get a challenge out of the game.

Interesting idea, I believe that it would be better suited for the opening sequence or an adventure mode ending sequence than a trailer to be perfectly honest. It is fairly busy and ripe with a lot of characters.

It is also not very plausible as there is an overt lack of Kirby. Haha.

I can see that. Maybe competitive Smash is simpler than competitive Pokémon.
That's interesting. Even though I'm making a Gen 4 team, seeing stuff from Gen 5/6 is good too.
Scizor is walled by Heatran unless it uses Superpower, which is in almost every Choice Band set. Nowadays, it's all Bulky Mega Roost, Mega Defog, and Mega Swords Dance. Normal Scizor is on the levels of Conkeldurr declining.

Depends on how desperate you are for 3D Pokemon. I would say wait if you wouldn't mind waiting. Not that X/Y is a bad game IMO, but I wouldn't buy both X/Y and Hoenn Confirmed. That's just me though.

You should wait until OR / AS are released. It's just a few months. I don't think it will have those trumpets everyone is excited to hear again. If anything, the sounds will be similar to those of X/Y.
