Idk about the attraction thing, because what's attractive or not varies between people, but I'm more worried about someone staying faithful than if they're rich. And seriously, who has money these days? I don't know any "rich" people personally -- my relatives/friends/acquaintances have basically the same income as my family = just getting by.

Meh... the society, church (if you believe) and media has put so many ideas about the ideal relationship that everything is a lie, I prefer the idea of waiting and look for someone that has common tastes with me, independent and make me laugh, obviously good looks and money is a plus, it all depends what makes you happy.

Whatever happens to achieve, through random chance, a state that is any way sustainable will continue to exist, whereas things that can't achieve an as sustainable state will cease to exist. Therefore everything for anything more than a minute moment will have some mechanism of sustainability. And only things that can persist for a long period of time can acquire any sort of complexity. In terms of life, this means things that happen to, by chance, acquire a trend towards proliferation will continue to exist and eventually become observable, whereas what does not will quickly fade out of existence. And when you think in terms of intelligent behavior, this random trend towards sustainability takes the form of the drive to reproduce. Of course even things that have achieved a high degree of sustainability will eventually cease to exist, but that is entirely a moot point. What matters is that it has the properties that will cause it to prosiest for a certain matter of time. It's "on rails" so to speak. Like a dunking bird that keeps repeating it's movement until it is stopped by air friction. It has no desire to continue moving, or it thinks it can move forever; it's just that the properties of the bird are set up to promote continual motion.

Concepts like "goals", "desire", "meaning" ect. have nothing to do with it. None of those things mean a damn thing when you're talking about the workings of the universe. It's just pure statistics. Or course, you can assign any meaning to it that you want, but it's not intrinsic.

Meh, I'm in no rush. I can't even support myself properly right now to even think about dating.

Both of you could always start by writing a book and planting a tree, after that look for someone, like here in México we say a proverb "Siempre hay un roto para un descosido" or in english "There is always a broken for a unstitched", is more about patience and willing your heart to be a little more adventurous, always helps if you try to socialize a little more with your friends, coworkers and school mates, go to parties, take a coffee, go to the movies, make exercise in the park, take new classes or go to the gym, it will improve your chances to meet new people and maybe with a lucky shot someone you like.
