Considering WB Interactive's relation to Nintendo with Wii U was similar to Ubisoft, I for one am hoping to see a Batman trophy.

Not really. All of the fighters in Smash pertain to Nintendo in some way.
Well okay its kindof a cop-out considering gaming history IS Nintendo, but you know what I mean. Not that Im complaining..
Which means the game is turning into what a lot of people who have no clue about Nintendo (Which is a surprisingly large amount) thought it was from the get-go.

As much as it pains my heart that Banjo will never be playable (unless M$ sells the franchise back to Nintendo), I'm still as happy as I could possibly be that my second favorite has a chance. He may not be playable, but just the fact that he's in the game shoots his chances to be DLC up. I would throw so much money, so much money... I wonder how a Rayman Amiibo would look.
If it wren't for the fact Sakurai doesn't want Fighting game characters that play similar to SSB ones, I'd take Fulgore any day over Banjo-Kazooie. However, I do admit they'd likely be very original. But it's a duo fighter, so...
But it's clearly going to be either Shulk, She-Hulk, Shrek or a Shark.
