I don't understand why all this hatred towards the game. Some of my most favorite and my most favorite veterans got cut and my most wanted newcomer hasn't shown up at all in the game and I still love the game to death.

Character-wise? Metroid has 1 rep, Samus, and then Samus again.
Also, Sheik doesn't count as another Zelda rep because she's both Zelda and ming-boggingly-irrelevant at this point.

Except characters are the only thing that matter, this is a character game (A very lackluster character game with a ton of C-listers, oddball choices and clones over actually-decent characters).
How about this one move? THEY'RE THE SAME PERSON WITH DIFFERENT CLOTHES, IT'S ALMOST AS INSULTING AS DR. MARIO, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE SAKURI THINKS HE'S REPPING METROID BY GIVING US A SECOND SAMUS, METROID HAS VILLAINS, SUPPORTING CHARACTERS FOR GOD'S SAKE!

Well, uh.. yes, they're the same person, but with different movesets. In fact, ZSS' moveset is very different compared to Samus'.

It finally happened. This thread finally reached the very deepest depths of hell, it's gone to there and back.

I've seen a lot of ridiculous and unreasonable posts in my time on this forum, (which is saying something considering I haven't even been here for two years yet) but the things I've seen occur here tonight take the cake.

Is it that hard to just learn to simply accept the opinions of others (that doesn't mean you have to like it either, but it certainly give you the right to shove your own opinion down people's throats) agree to disagree and move on?

I'm [no longer] poking fun at him at all. I like D-idara and its obvious the results of the game have bruised him emotionally. A rational person doesn't enjoy getting angry, not all rational people can stop themselves from getting angry either. If the triggers are so widespread and the root of the cause is as stated by himself, then the choice of leaving Smash behind may be what's the best for his health and mind.

If it follows the Gates of Infinity formula, it'll have like two megas and twice the tutorials, that game ruined the franchise even worse than Sticker Star ruined Paper Mario.

Not really, I'm kinda sorry about this whole thing, I just played some Professor Layton and it calmed me down a little bit,
I mostly wanted to talk about Steven Universe and other great cartoons rather than being even more bitter about the clones.

Lol it is, I agree. Adaptability + STAB + 150 base Attack makes it a force to be reckoned with. It's still frail though.
At least it has base 145 Speed.

I really don't care too much for customization for a remake. If anything I'd try to make it look as much like gen 3 design as possible.

I kind of dropped off after gen three anyway, and I didn't even play gen two. The customization was what got me back into Pokemon with X/Y, and the cute Pikachu outfits are what interested me in OR/AS.

Speaking of dropped features, I still want my Pokemon to be able to follow me again.
