The biggest Nintendo fans do care who gets in, Smash is a Nintendo celebration first and then a fighting game, so no, true fans care more about the roster than the gameplay itself, the gameplay's not gonna reference years and years of rich Nintendo history (Well, neither did the roster on this piece of crap game).
If they suck it up, they were never fans, no real Ridley fan would accept these choices.
Last time I checked, Rosalina was way more developed and had more personality than Ridley.
I have no idea if you're this heated up irl, but sometimes you come off as way too aggressive.
Now listen here, let's get one thing straight. King K. Rool was my number one most wanted character for the longest time, and Ridley was right behind him. Are you telling me that should Ridley get in without K. Rool, that I should hate Ridley because of it?
Probably an interview of Sakurai explaining the totally believable reasons as to why he didn't include the three most wanted characters with a huge following.
Rosalina's a great character, but she's not the main villain of the Metroid series. And I already grew up, at least enough to spot a Sakurai apologist when I see one, and perhaps you could stop calling me names and insulting me, the only person at fault here is Sakurai because he stubbornly decided to do things his way and not listen to the fans.
Quality > Quantity, and the clones are negative quality.

You're right, she's not a Metroid character, she's only a character in the best selling video game franchise of all time who has getting importance in the series lately and since her debut was a extremely popular character.

Well, we did get some extremely unique characters, so the quality is already almost perfect. Clones just add to that perfectness, especially since they're Dark Pit, Dr.Mario, and Lucina.

Accepting the cards lifes gives you is one thing, accepting it when life straight-out cheats in front of your face is another thing. And that's the thing about this roster, it's got a bunch of characters, and none of them are really worth anything, 50 wasted slots. Why would I play characters I'm not interested in? And before you come with that whole 'you'll find one you like' bull****, no, unless they're called Ridley, K.Rool or Mewtwo, I hate how they play, move, talk, look, think, etc.
I'll get as heated up and flustered as I want, I don't have to control my anger, especially directed at a man who has done nothing to deserve my respect whatsoever, all he has done is ruin what seemed like a great idea with his bizarre judgement and stubborn mindset. Someone disagrees with me? I'll scream at them, someone doesn't like something I like? I'll scream at them.
Those characters were like appetizers for Ridley, not I'm left with a plate full of C-List appetizers and no main meal, no real star power, no popular choices, no fan-requests, NOTHING.
If you hate it that much, then why do you come over here and get all worked up like this?

Oh there's an easy way you can clean this up.
There would need to be like 10 good things about the game to override even a single cut or a fan-favorite missing, and I have a hard time even finding 5 good things to say about this game. Ridley would need like 100 good things about the game to override his absence, by looking at the good you blind yourself to how bad and lackluster the product really is.
Is this a joke? Because Smash would benefit so much from that actually happening.
