Yes absolutely, just go to a big box store (Best Buy, Walmart, etc.) Gamestop or EB Games only order as few copies as possible so they don't have to deal with new stock (that the publishers actually get paid on) and a variety of other BS. That's why they always nag you to pre-order, they don't accept risk like other retailers. Just go to a normal retailer's electronics department. If you really want to try Gamestop or get it at midnight then call.

I bought Hyrule Warriors though Bayonetta 2 is two titles and got extremely good reviews. If you liked PS2-era character action titles you'll love it. If not, do you own Pikmin 3 or Lego City Undercover? I'd recommend both of those before Hyrule Warriors, which I'd put 3rd.
I was never a big DMC fan, not my kind of action game, and the short black hair, mole, and British accent isn't my idea of "sexy," which Bayonetta plays up a lot.
