Not a personal attack on you but I can't stand the use of anime in incorrect context. Considering Ike and Shulk haven't even appeared in one (*cough* Captain Falcon *cough*), I think it's pretty lazy to consider them anime fighters just based on design.

I'm not even a big fan of anime but this still is pretty unsettling.

This is a very strange phenomenon. I have never played any Final Fantasy game, (besides crystal chronicles, but I doubt that counts,) and I should be worrying about an even further shortage of Roy mains, but . . . geez I'm pretty hype.

Another thing that is strange about this. How am I speaking right now? Usually I am extremely reluctant for anything "social", and yet! Here I am! Not having to force myself to type and click thoughts on the internet! However, now that I am reminded of this my hands are starting to shake again ;~;

Considering how interested I am in maining Cloud, I think it's time for me to find a good Final Fantasy game. Anyone have any suggestions?

My brother absolutely adores FF9, so consider this a recommendation from him.

2nded. 9 was my favorite(I've only played 5 through 9 though). Depends on what you're looking for though. And of course if you're interesting in Cloud in particular, you'll want FFVII or Crisis Core. If you want a super crash course on the whole FF series, I'd recommend Theatrythm (Dissidia also pulls everything from the whole series together but more in a way that'll confuse you if you aren't already familiar, imo) but you'd be all sorts of spoiling yourself on the various games.

Since i't a Bethesda game I'd recommend you to wait at the very least 3 months so that they patch it, and if you plan to get the pc version wait for the mods too

IMO, this direct was pretty good.
I enjoyed seeing all the news, and I'm thinking of maybe getting a few of the things that were shown.

It's far less buggy than the past Bethesda Fallout games in my experience, but maybe I'm just one of the lucky few.
Also I'm pretty sure that mod support will be on the console versions as well according to Bethesda themselves, and apparently the PC UI is godawful.
