Yes I understand that argument, but Falcomist's premises seem to say that this isn't as much of a factor as you'd believe. My question was basically directed at him.

I don't have a problem with having free tourneys, and I even usually end up a few bucks ahead from teams money. However I've decided that I won't split singles money either if I get the chance again. I split that one time with SS, Justin, and Phil, and I consider myself to owe all of you a free dinner to make up for that if I'm not going to split, and I hope you all aren't too humble or shy to collect from me.

Watch more youtube matches from the PAST and not recent matches and you'll see its not as unbelievable as you think.

well I doubt that everyone wants to go to another tourney already, there's tourney fatigue sometimes lol, so not on the 8th

But there's for sure one on the 29th, to give people two weeks after quakfest to practice and get on my lvl

On the splitting note, splitting is about money in the end. And free tourneys wouldn't be as competitive for most I think. I mean, isn't the point of a MM to make sure that both parties try their hardest?

As to splitting I don't see how anyone could really argue that splitting is for money as in the if it was about money the person with the most(1st) would have no compelling factor to split. As to the competitiveness aspect of it, yes sure it makes people play harder for that big difference between 1st and 2nd(not so much 2nd and 3rd as it is only 10%). But at the same time while playing with people who you play with all the time AKA your friends, you for the most part know who will win. This of course contradicts Rey's point of if its a coinflip split, which I disagree, I tend to find coinflips more exciting then landslides and would rather much see the outcome of the fore-mentioned match(s). So why the big paragraph, just to say respect each persons own decision, if Rey gets 33rd and Falcomist gets 1st and still wants to split Rey should take the money and respect Justins decision. Same for reverse(which could happen as Falcomist has proven he is just full of lasers for the most part ).

As to Prop 8 if you vote yes then that cool but if you vote no I'll like you alot more. It is a violation of religious rights as not all religions hold same sex marriage as sinful. As to the Free Speech it is also a violation, because lets be honest here anything now aday is a violation of free speech.

I didnt say you said I was bad. I also didnt say you said ANYTHING. Im just using you as a pseudo-example of one of the many trolls on these forums, specifically the Norcal threads (And thats somes I will say).

What I do care about is the fact that you (and others like you) oppose almost every idead just for the pure sake of opposing it. I find it slightly immature. Occasionally it can be funny (predominatly when P does it, cuz he just pisses people off), but often, if not alwys, you're just being a troll. A nasty one at that.

because you have a noob mentality. dude, here's a tip: unless you're remotely close to a great player's level, the margin of victory they have over you, even in tournament, is meaningless. even if you take a match off, it's still meaningless. why? because they KNOW they could win if they had to, so they're pretty much never trying as hard as they want to

It's not a preview, but you can definitely draw some conclusions based on other factors (not just a friendly). That's great that you were having fun playing against Jeff (who doesn't), but that fact that you were getting ***** still stands, friendly or not. I just find it hard to believe that you'd play a match without at least somewhat trying; feel free to correct me if that's not the case.

I'm not making any comments about how good/bad you guys are. Just saying that it's highly improbable that you'd beat Jeff and Mitchell 2v4.
