Who would you say is the better? And who is your favorite Falcon of all time?

Personally I'm gonna go with Isai. Just because.
And right now I really like Scar, because he's such a crowd pleaser :p
But I realize that the crown propably rests on either Darkrain or SS. Who do you prefer?

Oh, and SS was half the wombo combo, gotta love that :D

At their peaks, I would've given it to SS

Favorite falcon is probably s2j or mango

Well in their hayday is one thing, today is a different story. SS hasn't been active and darkrain started picking up the game again this spring. The crown is probably between S2J, Mango and Hax ( with Scar back on the radar, he could also be a contender for it in a few months). In terms of their hayday, definitely Isai, for the length of time and heights of his success. I think SS darkrain will be rerembered longer due to their time being around the most pivotal smash moments of the last age ( Genisis 1 and 2, ROM 3 and 4 ).

ya imo:

all time = isai
ss or darkain = darkrain in prime (mostly because he traveled and consistently posted insane results)
right now = hax (speed + decisionmaking + insane precision, and s2j is amazingly good as well, indubitably 2nd)

also thx for your faith in me homies <3 imma make a comeback for apex 2013

Darkrain was better in both of their primes. I don't think you can make a convincing argument for SilentSpectre, considering the only out-of-state major he's ever attended is Pound 4 (though he did kinda beat Armada there XD). Basically, Darkrain has a much more impressive list of top-10 placings at Melee majors.

They are both so amazing and so hype it is a tie imo. But that sounds lame so I am going to say Isai since he is my favorite Falcon ever.

isai was known as the best teams player in the world by far and away in his era. this was before my time, but from what i know, the unbeatable ken + isai team was isai.

right now i think that all falcons but me are really good in teams LOOOOL i play support way too hard and have to figure out how to do cool stuff in teams. even nando is better than me in teams ROFL

hax is an absurdly good teammate

Have only seen s2j play ssb64... I'm surprised he plays melee, I'ma check that out right away!

Anyway Scar, I don't think anyone can top the way you killed Mufasa! ;)

To anyone to actually sees/talks to Isai these days...

Has he expressed any interest in doing something like Ken did with KoC? Instead of just getting thrown into a match and jerking around (like vs captain jack. Maybe entering a Melee tourny to see how he fairs? Or is he 64 till death?

Why did the guy stop playing melee in the first place? Clearly put some time into it considering his level.

Also darkrain has always had more baller points.

favorite falcons gotta be hax atm. hes got the sickest most fluid movement ever
ss or darkrain.. prolly pick ss cuz theres something about his style that's really endearing.
like it seems really aloof but he's consistent with his tech chases and he's done some stuff with falcon that i've never seen anyone else do in terms of movement things and combos
darkrain's the manliest though. maybe not as creative as jeff but definitely has the balls to go for reads and combos that many people would be hesitant to go for
i think that if ss played seriously now he would surpass darkrain though
edit: like i think he has the potential to beat many players that darkrain would consistently lose to

Isai is the sickest IMO, watch him do 2011 style comebacks in any 2005-2006 era vid 3 stocks to 1, sometimes he will jump off after ****** someone for no reason, sometimes he just outright ***** u

I have a conspiracy theory that Johnny actually is Darkrain. They've never been at the same tourney, so there's no proof otherwise. He got tired of MW so he threw on an asian disguise and started wrecking people on WC.
