Context:
my VGM playlist is 177 songs. Among these I have all of the Xenoblade OST and all of the Smash CD soundtracks.
After listening to Full Steam Ahead (great song btw) it went to Xenoblade YWKON, then after that it went to Smash YWKON.
Reconsidering my life rn
Now I think about, there's very little music in the Xenoblade OST that I don't like. Maybe some of the atmospheric stuff that loses its effect considering it's meant to accompany a particular scene.
^^ I have to disagree with the three of you. . . I am for Prologue A. Naturally, I find that the both if them are excellent pieces, but what really tickles my fancy with Prologue A is the "drop" it has nearing the end (the climax right after it goes kind of quiet for a little, then the violins start doing their beautiful thing). . . It's so powerful. Oouuff, just thinking about it makes my kokoro go doki-doki. ;w;
Now now. I heared both prologues, and from an completly neutral standpoint, I can say, that I like Prologue A far more, because the rythm and power of each moment impacts far more than in B.
B is better if heared as a follow up, since it goes from slow to fast, fittingly, and increasing the tension.
But I personally like A more, since I got a thing for such things.
8:00 EST, and the best place to look is Nintendo of Japan's Youtube Page. https://www.youtube.com/user/NintendoJPofficial Enjoy it well you lucky *******. I will not be able to see it live.
For those who are interested, other time zones in America.

Now I'm listening to the prologues again
with my superlux hd668B headphones. <----- Great headphones if you want high quality sound without paying for the brand. 45$. Audiophiles love these things for that reason (I'm not an audiophile, just a guy who makes sure to research before making a purchase)

I guess without the scenes, A does have more rhythm than B, but if you view them both with the scenes that accompany them in-game, then B has more synergy with its scene more than A, making more people prefer B than A.
Things I like about Prologue A:
1) The chimes.
2) The brass at the beginning.
3) Choir near the start sounds cool.
4) Lower instrumentation is different.
5) Gradual build up from the drop in the middle
6) Ending is not bad.
Things I like about Prolouge B:
1) Faster beat/song
2) Drum set/percussive presence
3) The viola part a little before the middle is cool
4) Main theme is worked into it
5) Amazing ending. Makes me think of those damn titans every time.

I really only like B more because of the Main Theme incorporation
Plus I feel like it's more memorable, especially because in the opening cutscene no one talks for the last part of B while A is kinda covered up by voices and guns and people screaming as they get eaten by weird robot things
I didn't do so well with a Shulk against my friend's Villager. It seems like he can't do anything against his attacks and projectiles. Am I doing something wrong or is Villager a bad matchup?
IMPORTANT EDIT: I've never used Club Nintendo before and I linked my 3DS eShop account to it. If I buy anything on the eShop that is able to be registered, will I automatically get the coins?
So today I was reviewing a song and I was like this...
"The vocals are kind of screechy at points and the production's dated, but it's got a good rhythm go-"
Thankfully I stopped before I became a memetic monster.
Unfortunately, the rest of the day did not agree with me, as the attached image will show.
I've never seen a direct before; is the YouTube link a live stream or something else?

When the stream is live, go and click the link I gave you. The stream will be featured on the front page, so you click on that and watch it to your hearts content.
Say hi to Lyn for me while you are there, and say I couldn't make it but I tried really really hard. Tell her that I love her and will see her soon. Ganondorf will probably be furious with me, getting attached to a lady.... I am going to have to take that chance though!
As for Club Nintendo. Yes it will automatically give you the coins. You only have a month however to get all the games into your club Nintendo account. So be careful.

And who is Lyn? The girl from Fire Emblem? Is this some kind of joke? Sorry I'm being obtuse now; I feel like I'm privy to some inside joke I don't actually get. please understand ;-;

I think it may be a bit of a bad matchup. I've faced off against an extremely good Villager before and I quite simply couldn't get past the barrage of slingshots and Gyroids.
Admittedly, this was on Smash 3DS last year so at the time I was still learning my way around Shulk's Arts, and the other guy was easily a better player than me. Saying "I once had two matches against Villager and it went badly" isn't really enough to say that it's a bad matchup, but it is enough to say that I can see what Villager does and it's scary without Speed or Jump.

Cry finishes Xenoblade. I skipped to the credits to avoid the spoilers. Don't read the description btw if you want to avoid spoilers too. Anyway, he loved the game
I really want someone to go through the Xenoblade files again and locate the enemy and script voice files. I want to know what Xord was actually saying. And want to use some of the other things they say.
I kind of want someone to do the same thing with The Last Story. I had grand plans of putting the Arena Announcer's voice clips over footage of the Olympics, but couldn't find them.
It definitely takes time to actually apply it in practice. Once you get it down, you can mix up your offensive options and mindgame players with the short window of invincibility when you cancel your landing lag (Monado activation animation has some initial invincibility)
You can also cancel your air dodge landing lag. Holy ****. That's really big

Let me tell you a little story... But first, I need music to recognize the moment and my true inner feelings.
Lyn, or Lynlee Ku, is my eternal love within' the universe.
She is which from all radiant beauty resides and comes from
A veritable goddess within the world of Humans, Homs, and Nopon alike
Smart, cute and intelligent, my love is the leading engineer of BLADE, making us wonderful machines we use every single day within planet Mira. Dolls.
Not only that but she even talks with her hands in such a beloved manner. She is almost like an Italian like me!
Going even further, she encapsulates the spirit of Reyn, offering both the same weapon type and most likely playstyle! She has the Reyn Time inside her soul! She is the perfect character to entertain with Reyn's obtuse and endearing personality as well. She truly is one of the best humans one could meet.
Yet... Our story is tragic. I cannot see my darling Lyn tomorrow morning. Ganondorf has sent me on a mission that I cannot miss.... Else my Great Lord will take notice of our forbidden love. So while you are with Lyn... My beautiful, amazing Lyn. Tell her I will not be there to see her off within her playstyle... I will not be there when she finally gathers the courage to show off how she fights.... Tell her, I am so sorry and I would love to be with her right this second... Grab her hand, and tell her I will be there as soon as possible, and that I will use every fiber of my being to rejoin with her... Do this for me please.... But if I vanquish in battle... Tell her I love her, and that I want her to be happy... Tell her to find another man that is 10 times better than I could ever be... Tell her not to mourn, because as long as she is safe, I will rest happily. So do me this favor please! I beg of you! Comfort my sweet, sweet, Lynlee, for she does not deserve even one second of unhappiness!
I don't mind her either. I'm just glad that they're not trying to make her waifu-bait by making her somehow 18. I just hate when people just decide to make girls legal when they clearly change their birthdays to make themselves 6+ years older.
