thx Soap for being one of the only people in Melee to realize that Scarjump is only the initial walljump done w/o wasting the dj. Everyone else thinks it's the repeated walljump =/

i tried the repeating walljumps, it doesnt work with sheik, for some reason her aerials dont stop momentum like falcons does, otherwise that record would be mine rofl, what is it 8? i was playing some nubs last week and apparently ANY kind of walljump nowadays is scar jumping, scar 2 good.
and rofl i mentioned scar jump like 5 minutes ago, how did u find this?

ganon is soo much easier vs falco, i have to get a couple hits to kill falco with sheik whereas with ganon i hit him with a fair once and he just dies hah.

i wanna play ganon now lol, i just gotta get used to his jump timing, i always get stuck in shield and it takes him like a day to jump out compared to fast people, gotta learn when he can jump and just buffer rolls the rest of the time

there are a whole assortment of different types of grabs to choose from, dash grab, jc grab, pivot grab, boost grab, etc.

boost grab is pretty much for tech chasing and compensating for dash dancing and silliness.
jc grab is for when you don't want to lag much and get horribly butt****ed. i also find it easier to cg characters with jc grabs after about 30 but that's just a preference thing.
dash grab is for cgs and when you think the range is more important than the reduced lag. it's also for cging at real low percents when they di away and your jc grab won't reach. by real low think 0-10/12/14ish.
pivot grabbing is mostly for crossing up on shields (dash behind them, pivot grab) or defending against stuff (pivot grab someone out of a low or medium-low range aerial like fox's nair, peach's jabs, etc).
generally jc grab is good if you're afraid of lagging too much and being ***** for it, and dash/boost grabs are good if you need more range or need to cover more distance and don't care about the risks. pivot is for tricksies and defense mostly.

usually for other characters I just JCed all my grabs, but with sheik her JC range wasn't to great. So that's why I asked. And i remember reading somewhere that her dash grab is more useful than her JC.

its really easy to predict a dash away or wavedash back and grab them out of it with a boost grab. Boost grab *****, just get used to the spacing and u will interchange it second nature with jc grabs.
Jc grab is the only other grab u really need.
i cant chain grab at low percent everytime, and i usually miss it when i actually need it in a pressure situation, so i just ftlilt. i jc grabs for chaingrabs above 30 too, timing is just more natural cuz i never dash grab really.
pivot grab is **** with marth, its meh with sheik, pivot behind shield is 2 good with everybody.

Proverbs goes to school right at the New England Medical Center Orange line train stop. I'm training him up. I live right off of Wellington station if you want to stop by. Paying for parking in Boston is horrible but if you know a place I guess I could take the T in too.
