Mr. H confuses me, is he trying not to get ninja'ed? Otherwise there's no reason to be so vague about this, clearly even a rough early 3D model would provide some sort of clue in regards to the character's identity if he did indeed see it.
I hate it when cornball theories in here almost make sense, but if it does, your post would need to be capped, pronto.
Already mentioned this before, although the exact nature of it seems to vary with the player. This guy says he ran into spikes periodically, some others say the game just folds over to you in the later half of the game until the final boss (kind of like Superstar Saga). I wonder if there's some nonlinearity messing with things, or this reviewer was maybe not as diligent in grinding/finding power ups?
Hmm it WAS a November reveal, and Terry is getting released...in November.With the anniversary of Shantae's reveal as a spirit coming up, what are we gonna do? I know that our current position isn't too advantageous at the moment, though it's still a pretty damn good stepping stone!

That's close to the new month with Luigi moving into his next vacation (horror) on Halloween.
Yep, and lines directly up with the M.O. of the last 2 Directs. It's eerie how it would fall right on Halloween for the Month of Luigi.

I got a week off at the end of this month, so I'll have to see about snagging the copy of it I saw in a specialty game store.
I'm hoping to snag Pirate's Curse on the Switch for a relatively recent price one of these days, too. (It was put out by Limited Run Games, though, so I'm definitely not holding my breath.)

Ryo was seen in the background of Terry's stage, which seems to be a King Of Fighters arena instead of a Fatal Fury-specific one.
That leak didn't really get a lot of people's attention since leaks is mostly a guess people post on the internet.
And maybe geno being wave 2 if this leak ends up true from papagenos and if it dose...

Pretty much every leak. I just like to see YouTube people jumping on 'em without hesitation, followed by typical riffraff in the comments.
hayabusa is the last nes classic not present in smash ultimate, that's why people want him.
Also, people jumped on the bandwagon ever since that fake 5Chan leak with Luminary's slightly inaccurate skin loadout, Steve, Doom Slayer and Hayabusa.
I would say Skull Kid makes as much sense if not more that Ryu. Ryu might be a star of his own series, but the series is now obscure. Skull Kid is a first party character and one of the only reoccurring characters from his franchise. While most every Zelda game has a different Link, the very same Skull Kid had a significant role in three games. Only Ganondorph has been in more Zelda games.
I think Hayabusa would have more of a chance if Kasumi can get in first, since he's a part of DOA now (granted, he already was before modern gens, but now it actually matters).
As in NES Classic? Because there's still Contra, Bub and Bob, etc. And plenty of other franchises that would be considered "classic," in the other sense.
As much as people like to be vocal against OoT and by extension MM due to their coverage/rating (with the only other game being the connected TP), I don't see it happening this entry. Now if they gave that character and possibly the mask some more background and weight, yeah, could totally see it. Same for Waluigi.
I don't see it happening either as he is already an assist. My point was simply that Skull Kid being a fighter makes just as much if not more sense than Ryu, which was the counter to what you said.
