Not many people outside of smashboards really want Isaac that much from what I’ve seen. The fact that he wasn’t even given a trophy in smash 4 just furthers the point. Also Bandana Dee is really far from just a goomba with a hat. He has done way more than the goombas have ever done, and he should add killing Mario to that portfolio. Imagine how funny it would be if we got goombario playable just because of this joke.

I went on there once just to see what people thought about Sceptile, only to find that some people on 4chan have obsessions with treecko feet. The people there have some weird fetishes, but I noticed no one particularly hated him, outside of a few “he’s old news” believers.

I took that poll and found on a site with ‘flavor of the month’ bias, Sceptile was the third highest pokemon, with the flavor of the month Decidueye taking first, and gengar in second.

Well, if you've played the kirby series, Bandana Dee has been getting bigger and bigger, he's now basically part of the main allies, his abilities are pretty fun, and he's kinda cute.

Geno is almost a representent of mario rpg. It was a great game, and being a puppet and shooting limbs and more is kinda neat, and he has energy attacks. Plus he's actually a star being.


But I can tell you were venting some of your frustrations too. I get that.

-Doomguy the FPS man
-Shantae the face of Indies (debatable on wether if it's Shantae or Quote)
-Crash Bandicoot the outcast kid on the playground
-Phoenix Wright the king of visual novels

I’ve already posted in this thread that I do not like support Shantae. Which is why it took a lot for me to admit Shantae has a solid shot rn.

For the record, I did replay the Shantae games, I only really liked HGH, RR and PC was ok. GBC felt dated but it was alright.

I feel part of my dislike was I played the games when I was in a bad mental state. Now with a more positive state of mind, I had a good time.I still don’t support shantae, but I’m not as opposed to her as I was in the past.

Honestly with a focus on ballot fanservice and Shovel Knight getting an AT I feel she is in the game in some way. Either she is playable or also an AT. When she is rerated again soon in RTC, I will probably rate her somewhere in the 40-55% range in Chance.

I just figured I would drop by to say that my opinions have evolved and I feel shantae is decently likely rn.

This is all rather confusing. But I do admit, I see this sort of logic way to much. I don't think it matters what a thing is, if that particular thing can impale you with a spear or fire lazer beams, I think it's worth considering.

Edit: Also, 1000th post for me. Yay! ...I really need to go to bed. Curse you possuble insomnia.

I mean, it's really up to each person to make out what has moveset potential and what doesn't. (for their own purposes i guess) Of course in the grand scheme of things the only people that matter are those that design Ultimate. And what some people have done with that feeling of incompletion in the Smash series is made fan-games, where they created the characters, and determined who was worth giving a moveset towards. Some people are just left to speculate, and since I don't feel like correcting everything in this moment, it is what it is.

All in all, everyone disagrees on at least one character, and has their ways of painting them. I'd personally be down for the inclusion of a wooden doll with crazy magic powers, a stubby woodland creature with a spear, (mainly because I played the Kirby games and the spear was like, top 3 best power-ups imo) a dude with a cool sword and elemental magic, (he could utilize a similar style to Cloud or Robin) and of course, a character that is secretly 5 characters.

Also, on an unrelated note, can we all agree that plain-color profile pics with a single capital letter are a bad trend?

Honestly, I can get behind this poll. It gives the ability to vote multiple times, they did a good job spreading it to smash fans, and there's characters... a whole lot of them. And I'd say it comes closer to accurately depicting the public's wants than any other poll. Yes, it isn't perfect (face it, no poll, including the Ballot, ever will be) but it has all of the noticeable names at the top, and other important characters that wouldn't have gotten recognition in any other polls. My only complaint is that Shantae's name is a bit too far down and hard to find, but oh well.

And yes, I did vote for Sakurai. A number of you reading this did too. Just disregard his results.

Nah, don't worry about it. The meme will have died and been considered "beaten into the ground" and/or "normie" by tomorrow morning at the latest.

And in the 5% case it doesn't, remember that you weren't even the one to "establish" the meme in the first place.
And even then, at worst, people at GameFAQS will spam this template on their forums to "prove their narcissism and that their character is superior," or some bull****, but that won't affect us.
And yes, the GameFAQs people read Smashboards forums, if the post about people on this forum trying to stay at page 68 was any indication.

Personally, I say we axe Ivysaur and add Ferrothorn.

He won't actually do any attacks. He'll just lay hazards on the field for 10 minutes and then get switched out.

If they can turn Rob into a fighter, they can pretty much do anything, jazz ;p

Maybe this is what happens when you've temporarily exhausted stuff to talk about with a character. Or friction turns into humour.

Well, here's something I noticed when I saw WayForward's 60K followers tweet.

They indicated that HGH won't be the last Shantae game. They also, of course, ignored every tweet that was asking for her to be in Smash.

Nah, no GameFAQS users here. Just the regulars speculating... I guess we'll call it an "alien invasion fantasy." And discussing other characters that aren't Shantae, so you do have a point there.

If anything, my posts just show that I'm depriving myself of rest, and how it's affecting me. XD I probably won't come back here much tomorrow, and maybe in turn I'll use that time to create a personal move set list for her, or something else productive along those lines. Give the speculation a day of rest to reboot for later purposes, unless something absolutely major happens, of course.
