Smash Legend
What? Ridley was a boss, though, Skull Kid never was, and I feel that's different because Smash is for different characters, which playable series representation get's really limited if you only go for the protagonists. And I haven't played many Mega Man games, but I've played Mega Man 2 and it didn't feel all that difficult; the most difficult part was some of the big bosses and traversing the levels, and I have played Kirby games and the bosses didn't feel difficult either, except the secret Soul bosses because oh-boy are they ready to clobbah dat der Kirbeh. Smash seems different, though; all the bosses are big and easy to hit, what would make a small boss lame is if they're also easy to hit, and it'd be weird if they're hard to fight on Easy difficulty; Smash's gameplay is definitely different, though closer to Kirby I'll admit. You don't play many Kirby or Megaman games, do ya? They have plenty of examples of bosses around the same size as the protagonist while being no less fun to fight because of it.
Also the argument of "I'd rather not have a character represented at all instead of incorrectly portraying a role" is a ridiculous double standard. Should Ridley have not been made playable because he's had no such appearance up until now?
Really I think Skull Kid would be cool if he was represented in some way, it's just I'd rather he just be a trophy if not a fighter, as then he'd have a chance for DLC...
