I’m still unsure about the prospect of both Shantae AND Risky becoming fighters, but it would be cool to see a full female villain make the roster especially with all the villains being added this time around. Come to think of it, aside from Medusa, I’m having trouble thinking of any notable enough female villains from Nintendo that’d be Smash-worthy

EDIT: I have mentioned before that I’d love to see Dr. Coyle, though I doubt she’ll be the ARMS rep.

If there's anything the most likely would be an assist trophy of someone like that. And possibly some other characters in a final smash or victory animation or something.

I've vouched for Coyle before, but that was more because of her personality and the unique ARMS traits she could than just her being female and a villain (although that could be a bit of a stretch, since she doesn't really have much "evil" ambitions except for somewhat mild revenge against Max Brass).

Eh to each their own. I won't try to start a flame war over it. (As for Dr. Coyle, I wouldn't be considering her if it weren't for those other things, like personality and levitation mechanics).

Month as Nintendo may want to draw more hype for that bundle coming in early November. While I’m bummed out we got nothing this week, I’ll just be awaiting what comes later. I’m wishing Shantae the best of luck to make it into the roster the same I do for Isaac. Be strong guys.

I thought customs in the last game were a mess. Smash ultimate feels much cleaner up to now.

Considering Isabelle and Sakurai’s reasoning for making her a unique fighter instead of an echo, I don’t see Risky making it in even as Shantae’s echo, even if they focused on the Pirate Gear

I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if Risky doesn't make it in, because she's about as likely as Goku. I just thought I'd put my 2 cents in on the idea.

IMO, they were nice as an experimental thing, but there was no major reason to use them, besides make some single player modes easier, especially considering how rng-based they are. I'm surprised they're even letting the Miis keep their Custom Specials. I just hope they didn't waste a lot of development time on customizations (and Mii costumes) this time.

I'll be honest, I would've liked it if they'd used some of the custom moves to help some of the echoes feel more different from their counterparts. Like Lucina getting the dash shield breaker would've differed her from Marth and, honestly, felt more close to her home game.

Agreed, two custom moves I could see Daisy inheriting from Peach for her specials were the Flower Bomber and the Light Parasol combined with her having a giant flower instead of a parasol

Actually a slightly boring one I have for Sky is that she’s an avid book reader and frequents the Royal Library considering the library card she lent Shantae in Pirate’s Curse and its not the first one she had since Shantae ruined her last one

I think Shantae has a 100% chance of being in this game due to all the quietness of Wayforward.
