Thank you for pointing this out. I just snagged it, and while I admit this isn't my cup of tea, how can I resist the art of some of those listed! That's just an amazing group!
I agree, the leak is a bust, but there's no way Shantae isn't in the game in some capacity. I trust to hope for the best case scenario. That. Is. All. Come at me!

We're almost certainly getting something revealed this week. On top of the stuff people were talking about before, now we got two Today's Fighter posts in a row. Last time that happened was when Isabelle was revealed. Both in her originally planned week and the week she actually dropped.

Last time we had a fighter on monday and tuesday was 4 weeks ago, when Isabelle's reveal happened. And there were two fighters the week before when her direct was supposed to happen too.
With that, the playlist being updated, and the new tag being removed, it's really likely we're getting something announced this week. So another chance for Shantae to be either shown, deconfirmed or still nothing.

Unless they're revealing everything in one go this time around which I doubt, the characters I believe will be revealed are Inceineroar, Ken, Tails, Skull Kid and Isaac. Shantae would probably be one of the last characters to be announced alongside a character like Geno. There's a lot of characters with a lot of good evidence backing them up, and something tells me there is more characters than we're being led to believe. That's just me personally, I could be wrong.
