And i feel thats a good case to stand by. The people saying only ken and inceniroar are left because those are the only names he said plus looking at only the box is dumb

I don't think Incineroar will be last. I think we've still got a solid 4 more new characters including Incineroar. I'd wager he'll be revealed in October during a pop up announcement like they did with Lucina and Robin.

Yeah it is odd to me that Sakurai would choose him over Gen 7's Greninja. Decidueye is a lot more popular and I think most people see Decidueye as much better designed.

I agree, though there are other Pokemon from Sun & Moon I would like even better. Any of the Lycanrocs for example. But honestly guys...we're getting over 70 characters, over 100 stages, and over 800 tracks of music. It almost seems petty to complain about ANYTHING. Especially when there are BOUND to be cuts when Sakurai finally feels up to Smash 6 in about 4-5 years(HOPEFULLY! The man needs a vacation!) since the rights to all of these characters are bound to be expensive. Though, I was still surprised that Cloud and Snake made it back in. Especially Cloud, he really felt like a one-and-done character.

If someone wins every time at Blackjack or at a casino, it's very probable they are using a trick or are cheating.

Yeah, the best thing going for Shantae at this point is just how weird Wayforward is being around her and fighting games. Wayforward's strange approach this time just doesn't make any sense if she's not actually in.
I can't see any reason they'd outright ignore their fans asking about Smash or posting Smash fanart if she wasn't in and they simply were under some kind of NDA. Phil Spencer was able to say "Yeah, we'd love for Banjo to be in Smash" but WF has been totally silent.

I'm telling you guys, my uncle did actually work as a janitor at Nintendo in the mid 90's, and he said in 2018, a transforming genie girl named Shantae will be revealed as a character in a game called Super Smash Bros Ultimate. We didn't understand ANY of this at the time, so we put him in an asylum...but now it all makes sense O.o Guess that shock therapy wasn't necessary either...

I'd like to point out that everyone was only predicting Simon, and Isabelle AFTER they were leaked by Vergeben. Especially isabelle who was barely mentioned before Vergeben leaked her.

Yeah, everyone and their dog was predicting them but BECAUSE VERGEBEN LEAKED THEM.

He's a trend setter, but Isabelle had the mii costume, missing assist, and mario kart appearances and the whole "I am the face of animal crossing" thing (twitter, website icon, promotional material, over any other character etc.) And that's what was convincing to me personally. Simon lends more credence to him as a leaker (richter might hurt him).
We know in hind sight that the other characters had the popularity polls going for them.
However Ken and Incineroar don't have the same things going for them in my opinion. There isn't really anything to suggest they will be in. If they are in that confiirms his leaker powers.

But I see him as a dead leaker (my prediction versus his) because I say there will be no more pokemon since pokemon additions have always been revolving around replacing pokemon from the last smash game with new pokemon as this adds freshness and keeps the labor reasonable. The second wall for Incineroar is that even if we do get a pokemon Incineroar is only one of many possible contenders. If he says Incineroar, but it doesn't happen, then it will mean he got taken in by the smash speculation and was guessing. (No, get out of jail free card since he said his main sources confirmed this.)

I honestly think the debate has reached a stage where it can no longer progress until we get more reveals. However I think Incineroar's inclusion or exclusion will end the debate. Even harder if there is no pokemon at all.

We wait patiently in our chairs for the final verdict on Vergeben.

It's interesting in its own rights, though it may fit more as a Spirits-esque stage, though it may also be better to intersplice it with something like Half-Genie Hero's Neo Burning Town.

I would not oppose Incineroar if he came with Ultra Space as a stage, where it could behave similar to Final Destination and Isle Delfino. Though it'd be pretty hard to make five different locations(?) with a floating platform carrying you between said locations.

If we're concerned with lore or game canon here, try out Gen 1's Cinnabar Mansion, which did detail about the Mew Expeditions and the creation of Mewtwo, with the Mansion being one of the few things relating to Mewtwo still standing.

I dislike this Verg guy so much. He's ruining ****ing surprises! Why can't he just keep his damn yap shut!? I like discussing about Smash but then this guy comes in like Thanos ruining everything.

What I hate the most right now is that he's so far been right. Ridley, Simon, and Isabelle while easy predictions are all in. And if we get flaming cat over Decidueye, I'm gonna be so damn dissatisfied.

And if Shantae is in the game in some form and he ruins the surprise, I'm gonna lose it.
