Again, I don't predict him at all >.< And since all of my pridictions have been right so far, I can definately say I'm GLAD I don't predict him. I don't care for anyone I predicted, but not upset they got in. If he got in over someone better, I'd be really ticked... Not saying BELIEVE ME or anything, just defending myself from the 'everyone and their mothers predicting him' comment.

I know that both Incineroar and Ken are playable, all my sources said so, but all I know after that is that Square Enix has a rep, somehow. No idea who it might be tho, but it's definitely a Square Enix character. Sources said so. It is a waiting game. Again, pretty sure Brawl ended on Toon Link, and 4 ended on Dark Pit and Duck Hunt.
IMO that was the most hype reveal from that game (aside from Wolf and Pokemon Trainer), and I'm a Toon Link main (Unless Sceptile or Lycanroc are added) so I take offense to that.
Pre-Release Reveals ended on Olimar for Brawl, and Shulk for Smash 4.
Brawl ended on toon link wolf and rob. Smash 4 ended with dark pit and duck hunt.
MACHAMP and Hawlucha will always be the better wrestler Pokemon for me. Incineroar can stay in a damn pokeball. I'm sure sakurai knows that having two fully evolved fire staters is the blandest idea ever.
Then I guess it's time to prepare for Gengar or Cranky Kong.

This is some major hindsight bias. Vergeben was claiming Simon was in long before anyone else. Simon only got popular in speculation because of Vergeben. People were still skeptical of getting any Konami character at all, and if we did, it would have been just Snake returning. Vergeben claimed Simon was in before E3 and "Everyone is here" was revealed.
Not saying he's right but to be honest, He hasn't gotten anything wrong so far. You can argue that these were easy guesses all day long but at the end of the day he's been 100% correct. When it comes to Smash atleast.
He's from the colorless gameboy era, that's old enough. And he would be better than Incineroar regardless of what he is considered to be.
Bayonetta a disappointment? Sorry, that was pretty darn hype for me. Not quite as big a shocker as Cloud, but who could be at this point?
I mean, K. Rool was pretty huge and easily topped Cloud for me.

I'd like to point out that everyone was only predicting Simon, and Isabelle AFTER they were leaked by Vergeben. Especially isabelle who was barely mentioned before Vergeben leaked her.
Yeah, but I was 100% correct too. And I'm NOT a leaker. So yeah, there's a pretty good chance more than one person could be 100% right with their guesses. Pretty much all of these have been easy guesses anyway, except Richter, which is the only thing I'll give him.
K. Rool is the most hype. I don't think there is a single character that could make me more hype. Ugh.

This isn't true at all. We knew Isabelle was in since 2014. And I never even heard of Verg until after people talked about how he was right about Richter. As I said earlier, everyone were easy guesses, while Simon was a coin toss, but a coin toss on heads. But still, I guessed Simon before ever hearing about this Verg person.
The only thing that would hype me up more would be if we got both Shantae and Sceptile, but that isn't something I see happening (unfortunately).

This is why I only really entertain "Leaks" that have some tangible proof. Example is the box theory, I can look at the box and understand that it is a possibility,
When we're talking reveals building up to release, post-release reveals shouldn't really count.
Friends to the End for letting play as three major supporting members of the series and fleshing them out, even if some of the levels get nerve-racking at times. Runner-up is Jammies for it's teases and the catharsis of destroying everything with highly damaging sheep.

Honestly, everything Shantae haters say about Shantae actually applied to Bayonetta except for the indie argument.
But now Bayonetta's in the game and she's great. The only thing separating them is that Shantae is an indie, but Sakurai has kicked that barrier down a bit since he made Shovel Knight an assist trophy.
No she's not, she's literally broken as hell and too high of a tier for anyone who didn't main Diddy Kong to compete with. Yet still Sakurai refuses to nerf her for some unknown reason.
I agree. But unfortunatly, except for Richter most of Sakurai's picks so far have been Uber Safe ones(albeit Inkling has only been considered a Safe pick until recently). But then again as someone said earlier the Last characters announced for a Smash game tend to be unsafe ones like Olimar, and Shulk and Bayonetta.
