What a steaming load of bull****. My side focus in life is crushing scrubs with attitudes like that. I think you just John'd that whole paragraph. You're not good because you don't want to 'be that person'? What a load of crap. I talk just as much trash as I did when I sucked, only now I can back it up. Besides, what in the hell is more fun than winning? Anyone having to argue about fun being more important than winning just doesn't have the ability to win. I have loads of fun owning people. I don't feel it's changed my life at all. I play this game 3-4 hours a week TOTAL. It's still fun. I just pwns everyone at it. You make it sound like I have no fun at all destroying people, and that you couldn't possibly have fun destroying people, either. Trust me, it's fun. Only the losers have to explain why they don't find winning important, because the winners never even have to talk about it. Let's see this 'insane tech skill', only make sure you have something other than excuses to why it's okay that you lost rather than winning and talking about that.Edited by friend's request.
Chaddd: I never attacked you personally and I hope you don't think I did. However, please understand that since you don't like people making assumptions, I don't like it either. Don't act as if you know what I'm thinking or my mindset. Maybe I should play more seriously. Maybe I'll main Yoshi and be GA's Yosh player who *****. Who knows, but the point is I know I could be a hell of a lot better. ( I already have insane tech skill with everyone) However, I want to play for fun as long as I can. B/c from the day I get really serious I'll be a diff person and I don't want that. I like the way I am and know my friends do too, and thats enough for me. Don't care if it doesn't measure up. I know I could be good, but I would rather have fun.

I agree with this post. He has reasons to play this game and if thats how he roles thats good enough for me. Im not sure why you have a problem with this chaddd anyways

(more maps than the Beta though, so I might get gayed this time around haha) I don't think I'll be playing much Smash Tuesday-Thursday lol. Do you have XBL? I've been getting back into Halo 2 the past few days just to get reaquainted before Halo 3. (I am still Smashing too though lol, just got done playing Alpha yesterday) It'd be cool to change up games with you. (I'm not a fighting gamer, Smash is the ONLY fighting game I've touched in years)

Keith: I never said I don't enjoy winning. However, fun is just more important atm. Note I said I was picking up Yoshi and not my Fox or Falco. Winning with Yoshi is cool (hard but cool), but if I really wanted to win that badly I wouldn't even bother with him.
I know you get where I'm coming from though. Unlike Chaddd, you actually know me. I also understand where you are coming from and will concede my point.

I was speaking in general terms without implying anyone making a statement. I never used the word "I".
"us" is used as a general term to the community. Why are you still trying to nit pick at me? Alpha and Jared obviously support me, but I notice when you quote Alpha you choose to leave out everything he posted in my support. Good job at nitpicking the section that might give the slightest hint of me sucking.
Don't flatter yourself, I quoted Alpha for the pwnage I agreed with. I left out the stuff that may lead to flames or didn't really have to do with his post in the first place. Because every body needs to see the phrase "shakes fist at gerbil." Get over yourself.

Did you get to play the H3 Beta? If not man, I gotta tell you, it's like a cross of 1/2 and it was extremely smooth. The whole host crap was virtually eliminated in the Beta. Check out Bungie.net, they just recently posted the new ranked playlists. I like the idea of their new version of FFA and then there's that weird TS list called Team Tactics or somethin like that. Anyways! It's gonna rock.
