okay OP updated with likely tournaments we're going to. schedule ahead ppl.

this weekend's mini-tourney will be posted on the OP for **** talking and whatever else ppl do with tournament results

i think i'm going to increase the entry fee to $3 too and $2 each for doubles (so $5 total)

payout is 70/30.

finals are 2/3 cause this is small unless someone objects.

It's hard to say, since right now a lot of our talent is either scattered throughout sb/slo, or attending college in another part of california. And a few people that were good don't keep in touch with gosu anymore. It's not like we have a clear best here, but I'm doing my best to change that.

You can take it that way if you want, but I was under the impression that it was just supposed to shut me up about slo not having a melee scene, and it did. But there are some sb players you have yet to play, so there's certainly no definitive best. My falco-maining friend (DavidFalco on these boards ) is just as good as, if not, better than, me.

[Warning! The following paragraph contains massive johns! (and I don't care)]:

It's not even that slo isn't good. They are. But I know I could've won that mm. I got approx. 3 hours of sleep the night before, mostly because I was way too excited for my first big tournament. I had a tiger-woods-worthy breakfast of... half a doughnut. But the breakfast thing wasn't even the problem. The point is, I started to get sleepy around 10, and he chooses to mm me at around midnight, probably even later, when he could've chosen to do so during the massive breaks in between tournament rounds, like P did.

So in short, I'll get him next time when I'm well rested (or at least not really fatigued and hungry).

Or I'll let gosu go fox and ganon on his ***. :D

1) Always called shotgun when he knew that we had larger people in the back, AND took the DS.
2) Eats my fries.
3) Eats my Chili Dog aka my dinner that night even though he knows I ordered a Chili Dog.
4) Spills MUSTARD on my shirt while I'm in pools, severely hindering my performance.
