Twentynine palms is north of Joshua Tree, you're lookin at around 3 hours minimum to get to SD.

Ai Otsuka is alright. She needs to stop punning off of her name with the album names though. Love Punch was clever, but after 5 albums, Love Letter was just lame.

I had a hella Japanese music fob phase back in high school.

This is too funny. Within hours the discussion goes from Andrew W. laughing at Jun's hijinks directed at him, then to exchanges about a holiday smashfest, then to a smasher from Hawaii who isn't as close to SD as he thinks, then to Jun making a pun and using that pun as a transition into a discussion about jrock that Andrew B. (at least I think) finds hilarious, then Eric comes in and continues the discussion and provides some criticism for miss Ai Otsuka and her practice of generating album titles from her name, which is essentially on topic as he is criticizing her excessive use of puns and he was only able to get to that point because of Jun's pun.

This is thread is great. Can't wait to play you all again.

oh yeah, hmm i'll decide that sometime along the drive tomorrow. Most definitely the first or second week though.

Oh eric we should team, I think it'd be fun to play with someone from UCSD.

Pat, that sounds good. Puff Zelda is a great team. I can't bair to wait til then (harharharhar)

I'm still not 100% confirmed though due to rides... I can get a ride up, but I'm busy on Sunday so I need to catch a ride back down on Saturday with David or Kelvin, and David said he's 80% going and Kelvin's a maybe, so I'll hopefully be there. David said he'd let me know tonight whether he's going for sure or not. I'll let you know if I can't make it.

btw Pat did you get a dif number? I remember texting the number in the OP over the summer for physics lab stuff and you didn't respond :(

EDIT: Pat, David doesn't have a ride either so I'm not sure if I can go anymore :( sorry

How misleading... You make it sound like you can beat my Zelda even with camping... Don't embarrass yourself playing McCain ;)




Also, anyone in south bay who is going to GSG2 and coming back on Saturday, PLEASE give me a ride down. I'll pay for gas and stuff. I'd really like to go on Saturday, but I have no ride back :(
