Nothing's planned as of now I don't think, it's usually just Mondays. BUT if you ask people on this thread I'm sure someone would be free to play with you.

Someone like Eric Ding, who says he's going "just to hang out" and brings a controller. YOU ARE A BAD INFLUENCE.

We all went to "just hang out" but I had to prove Ky's preposterous claim that he can beat my Samus wrong (Ky, my Samus will always **** you any day <3). You, me, Jesse, Engdrew, etc all went "just to hang out" and look what ended up happening loool.

Smashfest every monday AND FRIDAY!!!! Sd is so crazy right now... This is not a good time for me to be a college student.

So since it does sound like most of you go to UCSD, do you have like a club or something? How would one go about joining this? :< Unless you're not open to new people joining you.

to join the club you need at least one of our phone numbers. then youre in

pretty much mine, pats, juns, and probably ky for the on campus hookups

Any other requirements? For example, do I have to not be terrible? I'm fairly decent, but if I played anyone even close to pro level I'd be slaughtered.

We're allllllllllllways open to new people haha.

1) show up to a smashfest

2) meet all of the amazingly cool people that go to them. SD smashers are the coolest people ever. Like, no joke. Stay out til 3 AM with us and you'll see why.

3) have fun yaaaaaaay

If you wanna play sometime not on a day with a smashfest, just ask around in this thread. There's usually people willing to play whenever.

2) I have early classes, but I will try. It might be worth no sleep just to stay up. That's what naps are for.

Smashfests are usually Mondays, starting around usually 2ish. The people who still live on campus are pretty much all in 6th. Which is pretty convenient since the smashfests are always in the 6th Lodge anyway.

Anyone else up to play tomorrow?

So uh. Where IS the lodge? Is it next to where the temporary convenience store is? Someone told me I needed a sixth key to get in there, I don't have one.

you don't need a key for sure. It's near the temporary convenience store. (I'm assuming you mean foodworx?) From foodworx, walk in the direction of revelle, across the little parking lot right behind it (it's under construction currently, I believe), and there's a building on your left that says LODGE on it.

I'll bring a set up and stuffs.

Haha fun matches today.

Matt, just play for fun haha. Ignore the stock count, most important thing is to just have fun. Also, just play whoever you feel most comfortable with. Playing Sheik is fine, but do it because you have fun playing Sheik and she fits your style, not just for the sake of playing Sheik haha. Character choice and match ups matter, no doubt about that, but just have fun with the game and the rest will come with time. The metagames for a lot of low tier characters are largely unexplored, and players like Cosmo, Taj, Axe, etc are finally tapping into their potential. I've definitely played plenty of matches where I won with Zelda and would have probably lost with Sheik. Low tiers generally aren't as bad as you might think

Except Kirby. Kirby just sucks loooooool

Also, I hope people go on Monday. I haven't seen some of you in forever. Especially you, Richard. qtpi.
