Are you sure about this? I was under the impression that vectoring was gone, meaning that you could only affect the amount of knockback by crouch cancelling and directions otherwise only affected angle as it has in past games.Food for thought: Holding up to DI increases knockback.
I am 100% positive. Test it yourself vs Sonic's B-throw.Are you sure about this? I was under the impression that vectoring was gone, meaning that you could only affect the amount of knockback by crouch cancelling and directions otherwise only affected angle as it has in past games.
Thats not vectoring, thats just DI. Holding up or down while moving horizontally is just curving the angle. Vectoring is when you hold towards or away from the direction you are moving. Like holding up while being sent straight up.I am 100% positive. Test it yourself vs Sonic's B-throw.
Vectoring is still in the game, just much weaker. I will admit I'm not sure if vertical vectoring still exists, but horizontal vectoring absolutely exists.
They don't I've just never heard of a ranking that does that. And I'm not good enough to place any better than what I got so i really shouldn't be entering. If they mean that much to you, then yes.
Yes, you can die earlier by DI'ing up than with no DI at all.I'm not sure exactly what the game counts as launch distance. I guess I'll keep an eye out for that. Are you saying if I DI up on a horizontal move, it kills be earlier and I should simply not DI?
I lost points by showing up and placing decent. So I would of been better off not entering? Lol
I feel like any system that discourages players from even entering tourneys is a bad system. If they mean that much to you, then yes.
I had two wins in losers lol >_>Damn, eliminated straight out the winners and his only win in Losers counts for only half as much, there's no incentive to even.
